I can't say I like Poch but I agree with him in that article. What the hell has it got to do with Xavi? Desperate for a bit of media attention or what?
I'll leave you to prattle on as you're behaving like a dog with a bone.
'I invite all clubs who want our players to come to our training ground and offer Daniel Levy stupid amounts of money and he'll pack Ali's suitcase'.
Translated as. Kerching next please...![]()

Seems to be a story all over the press, so as I said don't shoot the messenger. It does open the question as to Alli's future at Spurs. Surely if he wasn't going anywhere Poch would have just said 'No he's not going anywhere'. Surely even his English is good enough to express that ?
And what do you make of him saying that he is 'So sad' ?
I've said what I think but you seem to want to ignore it in pursuit of your futile Wum attempt.
I imagine he's 'sad' at having to keep answering questions about the future of our players.
Here's what he said just a few days ago....

Sure, Fosse. Come and talk to Levy. He's a very reasonable guy, honest! Just ask anybody who's tried to negotiate the purchase of one of our players.![]()
I'm sure that's what you'd like to believe. Reality ( remember that?) however, is very different.
The money in the game from the mega-rich clubs is a problem in my opinion, because they can come along and offer £80m+ along with £200k wages and turn a player's head. In all honesty, whilst I'd like to see Spurs weakened by Alli leaving, it would be a shame for the game if he was suddenly snapped up by one of the big clubs due to their financial clout. But that is the reality of football at the moment, money talks and chairmen like Levy are motivated by money.
Xavi got told to suck dick by Poch![]()
Spurs players who we wanted to keep but sold cos they demanded a move In the last 15years: (since Enic took over)
Carrick, Keane, Berbatov, Bale, Modric.
Arsenal Players who they wanted to keep but sold cos they demanded a move in the last 10 years.
Henry, Fabregas, Song, Adebayor, RVP, Nasri, Clichy, Song, Cole
I left of Vamarlen (excuse spelling) and Hleb cos I was not sure about them.
So by your logic that makes arsenal a far bigger selling club and therefore makes your board far more motivated by money.
This is even more bizarre as top 4 football is supposed to ensure you get to keep your best players.
Only the very rich clubs are able to pay the highest wages and therefore keep who they want.

It's that time of year again: MoPo Spurs and their fans in meltdown
Reality is you always lose your best players
No, reality is that we only sell players that we don't need.
If we ever sell a key player it's only because they have demanded a transfer in writing. In those cases the club will try to persuade the player to change his mind. But, if they are dead set on leaving, there really isn't much else any club can do apart from get the very best deal you can for that player.
I think in the view of most clubs it's futile trying to cling on to a player who's head is elsewhere.

Is that time of year again where CFC weighs up his team's fortunes and decides to post on Not606.
what a geeza

It's that time of year again: when I see Chelsea are going to win a trophy I can come out of my hole giving it the biggun...unlike last season where I practiced for the not606 hide and seek championships cos I am a glory hunting pussy with no backbone
