you sold your best players and the man with the chequebook is dead, I;d stop counting chickens if I were you.
I agree. What Levy seemingly can’t or won’t grasp is that success brings revenue. Yes,there are diehard fans who will support a club no matter what, but success is what brings new fans, attracts top quality players, fills stadiums, sells merchandise, and increases all revenue streams.
Shows what you know ... not much. We have a great young squad, most of whom are on lengthy contracts ... and the son with the cheque book is arguably more of a fan than his father was ... our chickens are fine ... and not based on a dubiously rented stadium and dependent on the fortunes of a couple of lightweight Hugh Hefners ... each to their own ...
It's definitely a move in the right direction. You need sustained success on the pitch to go with it though.
I actually feel sorry for the Spuds on here. Most seem to be quite rational and can hold their own in any debate. Then they have Hiag. He just brings them down several levels.
He's like the fat kid that gets picked last for the team. They know he's on their side, but they also secretly resent the fact that he makes them look like mugs.
Hiag probably has a hell of a lot of knowledge on his team, I really think he uses the forum as a plaything, he knows he will get a reaction from someone. Easy man to suss..
They all look after him, like a bloke that's shagging his sister. They hate the tedious runt, but look after him so they can pummel his sisters hairy kipper.
Just goes to show you how he's rattled so many cage's (although they'll deny it) , that we're one of the most talked about/popped at teams on the Prem board. The usual hyenas will be all over this board when City turn us over tonight.
He'd claim that, but years of him getting schooled on basic facts about his team and the game in general, says otherwise I'm afraid.
