Not sure I have a favourite cheese, but they all taste better cooked. Had pasta with a veggie sauce last night, loads of parmazan and cheddar grated and mixed in so it melted. Bloody marvellous mate
Dele Alli has renewed his contract, good move by Levy. Credit where it’s due. He’s a good player and seems to have curbed his temperament.
Someone better give Harry Kane some Wensleydale then, cos he’s been looking a bit jaded by all accounts.
A fine dream indeed Spulock ... but alas, t'was not I ... the majority of opinion suggests that you should keep a light on (as the song goes) after this little lady was seen exiting your gaff ... please log in to view this image
“Enhanced financial benefits elsewhere” is the promise on which I signed up to a pyramid scheme. Sure, it cost me £100k, but I’m promised that the enhanced financial benefits (coming from elsewhere) will be massive. Are you suggesting that I was told porkies?
Yes, just a few! But you could be right The cost of the Levydrome could go up though: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...ggestions-12bn-final-stadium-bill-inaccurate/ "Tottenham Hotspur believe they can complete the club’s new stadium for under £1billion, despite the rising cost of delays and gloomy predictions of construction experts. Sources within the construction industry claim Spurs face a bill in the region of £1.2bn to complete their new stadium because of delays and the fact chairman Daniel Levy did not negotiate a fixed-price deal with contractor Mace. Had Levy managed to sign a fixed-price contract for the delivery of Tottenham’s stadium, which had been valued at £850 million, then it would have been Mace and not the club who would have paid for any delays and the additional associated costs.
HIAG, you say 'The new stadium will greatly increase our Global profile, which will lead to enhanced financial benefits elsewhere.' Would Nu3PL increase your global profile more than success on the field?
Yes, but you now have the facility to borrow £637m. Looks like you will need it and much more https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...pending-debt-vs-manchester-city-a8608226.html
Levy is the biggest clown going. I doubt that bloke knows a damn thing about construction and the PC has had his pants down, makes me laugh given how many folk think he’s so shrewd. He’ll have interfered and cost himself an absolute fortune.
His contract will have more holes in it than Matthew’s favourite teddy. There’s a time and a place for acting the big shot and that guy seems to have screwed himself into a **** fest this time. He’ll pass the bill on to the fans no doubt.
I’m sure I heard somewhere that the principal contractor has never been involved with building a stadium.
As I said earlier if the debt at June 30 was 366m then I can't see that we could spend more than 200m to completion. All the major construction was done by end June.
[ I was at the Emirates the other week for the Watford match. Met with a few mates who support Arsenal so had a few beers with them before the game. It's amazing how many Arsenal season ticket holders know someone, and they're clearly all blabbermouths, working in a pretty important capacity on this job .
It’s hard to ascertain what was left to spend without seeing a programme. You can incur variations running up millions of pounds if your programme slips and you have contractors engaged who are delayed, they don’t just turn up a few weeks later and say ‘it’s all fine, don’t worry about it’.
Except that when you had your whole ground available in the previous season you were still 2000 down on capacity, so the question still stands, where are these extra 25,000 people going to appear from on a cold Monday night v Burnley
