So you'd have no issue with me claiming we should be in the CL and should have some won some trophies this century just because we've had some good players in that time?

Of course you would, cos it's ridiculous.

You could do with some new material yourself tbf, you’ve bummed the life out of your De Gea stats.

You mean the ones in the De Gea threads that other people stated? Obviously it's got under your skin, maybe it's because you subconsciously accept that he's vastly over-rated

Maybe try some herbal tea and some reiki mate, you do seem to get very angry when the subject is brought up.

lol, you're the one who cries whenever De Gea's lack of world-classness is mentioned, and even when it isn't, this case being an example.

There’s a difference between crying and pointing out that you’re being a hypocrite. Maybe it’s best if you take a break from the forum mate, this subject clearly brings out the worst in you.

Where as I laugh when De Gea's "lack of world-classness" is mentioned.
    <laugh>
At worst he is the second best keeper on the planet behind Neuer.
He hasn't had a great season so far, but then again, neither have United as a whole, so that makes sense.

Under Moyes and Van Gaal, De Gea was the only reason United finished in the top half of the table, he saved their arses so many times.
I think he is getting a little disgruntled at United though, and a move may be on the cards at some point. But his dream move to Real Madrid is ****ed because they went and bought Courtois, who isn't half the keeper De Gea is.

He loves United. Like most of the players though I think he’d prefer to play for a manager who will attack teams for 90 mins. It must be a shock going from Fergie to Moyes and so on.

I’d say De Gea and Oblak are the top two goalkeepers around nowadays.

A world-class goalkeeper would have his defence sorted and would claim everything that came his way, it's not just about saving 30 yarders, and how many mistakes does he have to make before people accept he's error prone? the Ronaldo spill wasn't his first (or second) spill for a goal.
It's the same with Pickford, not that I'm complaining about Jordan in the premier, he gives us a goal almost every time we face him

Have you any idea how many defenders have stood in front of De Gea since he signed for us and we still don’t have a back four that we trust? I’d bet there’s 20 different players I could list.

World Class goalkeepers win games for their team consistently and that’s exactly what he has done.

<laugh> Back of a *** packet stuff mate.

“Enhanced financial benefits elsewhere” sounds a bit ****ing vague if you ask me. Let’s hope for your sake there are more tangible benefits built in to Levy’s business plan. Like, actual money and stuff.

His reflexes are second to none, have seen him save point blank shots time and time again.

How many mistakes must he make before people will say he is error prone? A **** ton more than he has made so far
