I hope we get a big game for the first game of the season and do well in it, even if we don't win, to keep the press pack at bay (before they start their new crush on their new object of worship, Koeman), rather than an expected win at Sunderland or West Ham.
A supposed leaked photo was going around on Twitter with the opening games of the season, if it's legit, we have Leicester at WHL.
It would certainly be nice to kick off the new campaign with a convincing win. Let's hope all the new boys feature, with renewed vigour and determination, and that Sandro is restored to his rightful place in the first XI.
Well, looks like the Spammers will be firing up their t-shirt printing machines in anticipation. A tricky one to start with.
What's pissed me off is that we finish away too. I don't mind starting the season away as usually it means finishing the season at WHL, which I like. But making us start and end away from home is a piss take.

It's an okay start on paper but there's a lot of extra pressure on it. There was always going to be pressure on Pochettino to start well from the media but they'll have a field day if West Ham get a 4th win in a row over us, or if Redknapp gets a result against us, and the Liverpool game comes too early for my liking, it's another potential drubbing if we don't get out of the blocks quickly this season.
But imagine the clamour for van Gaal's head, should United fail to end up in the top 4, at the close of those opening fixtures! The media will be ripping its collective cock off, such will be the masturbatory frenzy.
Not sure how tactically aware Koeman is, but MP was hindered at Saints by lack of quality on the bench. News coming through today that Lallana was subbed alot of times as he refused to follow MPs orders during game time. Do not know if that reflects badly on MPs management or that it proves Lallana is a complete ****er (option 2 for me). Lack of strength on the bench should not be a problem at Spurs but MP plays his way and will not change, could go either way but I am more inclined to say this season will be good, but next season you will be looking for a new manager
Southampton will probably be relegation candidates as so often in the past having lost key figures. My biggest worry is does Pocettino have the staying power to maintain a challenge year in year out? AVB started his time with us with a defeat at Newcastle and I felt then that we'd made the wrong signing. Let's see how we do against West Ham, I'd like to say that a win will mean a good season but that's a bit bold.
