SG says that he cannot understand the poisiton NE is in because he thinks there is a lot of talent in the team especially in the younger players like Monakana and Hayhurst. Unfortunately, the problem that dogged GW, has now afflicted SG: the missing of Keane and Laird, two very influential players in NE's team. NE's troubles can be traced back to the home game against Brentford when both of these players received injuries. The week before, NE had gone to Stevenage and out-played them 1 - 4 with good football. Hopefully, SG can find the solution GW could not and eventually got very desperate, as seen in his inconsistent team slection. Dons have hit a patch but t hey have an excellent player in Luke Chadwick who is being given a roaming role. NE are prone to defensive gaffs as in the game against Swindon who posed hardly any problem until tthe defence decided not to go for a ball leaving it to an imaginary defender who does not exist yet! Hopefully NE will return to the confidence they showed against Bournmouth and, at times, Swindon and come away with 3 points. I imagine The Dons will have a lot to say about that though. Anyone willing to predict the score?

Thanks for the match thread Barnet, just to correct one point, it was Notts County game which Laird and Keane got injured in.
Onto Saturday, we are playing the "Best side in the league bar none" according to their opinionated manager, where are they in the league 6 points above us, maybe he's wrong on that point.
Difficult game, their fans are saying they are awful athe moment, lets push Robinson closer to the exit door.

Will settle for a point against Franchise, sounds like we should have had a penalty late on but not to worry, couldn't have seen us getting 5 points from 3 matches under the previous manager. Stevenage next up, irony if they re appoint a certain manager in time for next week.

According to PNEFC, it was a game NE could have won: missed chances and a penalty not awarded. Will Hayhurst was nearly sold during the summer clear out, played well early in the season and then was dropped! Now the young lad has scored 2 goals in 2 games and he is keeping Monakana out of the team! I have mONAKANA play twice and he drfted through defences. So this Hayhurst must be quite a player. Stevenage up next. Expecting a cricket score?
