After the white flag was clear as day up at Cardiff ....we're likely to go full strength and try and WIN a league game. We'll see at full time whether he was vindicated or not. If I'd seen the line up i'd have happily wedged a bit on Cardiff lets put it that way! So Huws could finally be back for this - assume as a sub.... Could McGoldrick / Celina finally line up? Nydam back?! Thoughts? For what it's worth, feeling we MAY edge this one. 2-1. G'wan I'll have a bit of faith for now.............. IF we could win this, would set us up nicely after the international break. Don't get me wrong, everything is far from rosy and I have reservations that the wheels can come off and rapidly, however if Huws can perform how he did last year on loan I think he'll help us massively. Celina the key - we need to get him in that line up every single week. He's contributing and will continue to learn. COYB.
First draw of the season.. And one we won't deserve having been outplayed for the vast majority of the match. Waghorn and Celina to score and PNE to miss a host of chances. 2-2
I'll be there,if it weren't for the Season ticket l really doubt I'd bother.Good chance to have a beer and catch up with my Dad and brother in law though.
Slightly off topic but MM said today that he would take the Sunderland job " in a heartbeat " if he were free, do we really think that Evans doesn't already know if MM will still be here when his contract expires? Regardless of anything else ME is very successful in business and a vital part of that is forward planning, so with only about 6 months to go is it credible that Evans doesn't know who will be the focal point of one of his companies?
I saw that story and added it to the 2017 "Revolution" thread.. Interesting few weeks and months ahead.
Based on how he has (mis)managed the Club as a business I really am at a loss to see how ME has been so successful.I have little confidence in how he will do between now and when Mick finally departs.
We hope that you have a safe and pleasant journey down to Suffolk That's what you call true dedication btw and good on you!
Shame no Huws back. No Bishop however I guess him being back is a bonus + no Adeyemi. Have a feeling it's a good time for us to be playing injury hit PNE and maybe can nick this. Strange how Bru on the TWTD write up supposedly is going to start ahead of Downes/ Nydam - yet is still available to leave?! Very weird..... We've slipped to four points off, with a horrific game in hand away at Derby who are starting to look a good top 6 bet. I would say if we have any remote aspirations for the season, this is must win. I suppose you could say the same for PNE as gaps are starting to form, table is settling down a bit.... COYB.
I cant believevthere are still some who are positive, oh and i call a slim defeat positive! 4-1 to Preston! Mick out!
I am going 2-0, oddly easier than we might think. But much depends if Mick still has the dressing room and he can gee up the players. Time for a 100% effort all round, and get the disillusioned supporters stirred up too.
