Just went back to look at the bench. Pace and power. Nice to be able to bring on players like Uche, Harris and Colwill to run at tiring legs.
Half time 0.0. I'm not there. Watching narrative on BBC Live Scores from Brescia, Italy. Here with running club for events tomorrow. From what I read it looks pretty turgid stuff. We only managed 2 shots on goal, at the end of the half. Neither on target.
I'll take a point guess we'll be meeting next season seems a good one not to have spent my life on the motorway or at rail stations, see you next season folks
Terrible game - everything I hoped it wouldn't be. Doyle didn't look his normal self at all and because of that we struggled to create. Both Ralls and Wintle did OK in the middle but the spark was missing. Drameh continues to look the real deal but we need a few more like him. Ng was our best player at the back, otherwise average. Up front Davies and Hughill struggled to link up. Uche added some grunt alongside Hugill but it was all too late. Colwill looked a bit clumsy and raw but he will get better. Bad day at the office and we got a point - that's really the best you can say about that.
Not one to dwell on. Again a slow start but never really picked it up. PNE had more creativity in midfield but messed up a lot of good openings. City didn’t play enough in the opposition half as usual and play far too deep. As usual recruiting central midfield is going to crucial pre next season. Ralls is so slow, and one footed.
As things turned out I wasn't there either, my trip back from Llandudno (not the Labour conference) took a bit longer than I intended and I arrived home not long after the full time whistle.
Good to see and hear a noisy few hundred North End fans yesterday PNE have some decent players; Johnson and Brown as always useful. Impressed with Potts. I think City got the better loan striker Echu rather than Archer
