Really like RLB he seems the real deal. I'm going for a 0-3 win Mayender, Roberts and Jobe with the goals. I think with the new signings we have the best midfield in the league and we are full of confidence.

Take care all you brave souls making the journey especially @Smug in Boots travelling down from Scotland.

Expected goals on target. Only measures shots that are on target unlike xG which measures all shots. Also, xG is measured pre shot whereas xGOT is post shot so it takes into account shot placement.

For example, Mundle's goal against Burnley measured at 0.06 xG based on where the shot was taken and other factors, but it measured at 0.80 xGOT because of where the shot placed in the goal.

Good article on it - https://theanalyst.com/eu/2021/06/what-are-expected-goals-on-target-xgot/

Sounds mad but I forget that Jude exists sometimes. Really taken to Jobe since he’s come here, was unfairly asked to play in a few positions and roles last season during a tough season however he really seems to have developed into a solid player for us now, and he’s only going to get better.

    Well done Regis <bubbly>

Seems pretty clear he's happy with the coaches as are the club ...

... he keeps referring to how the success has been 'collective' and praising everyone.

    Great training kit btw :emoticon-0103-cool:

First time in awhile I’ve been looking forward to game especially as we have an attacking style and a coach who likes to change things before and during games. I think I’ve gone for an SAFC win for the first trine for an away game this season. Hopefully that, and the fact that we should rollover a Wayne Rooney team, doesn’t put the mockers on it.

Should have had him sitting at the front looking smug with "his guys" around him.

Probably be enough for a few heads to explode

I didn't want Mowbray, mainly due to his comments when we beat West Brom down there.

When he came in, did a good job and came across well in interviews, made me laugh I happily said I'd been wrong.

After I'd praised him, and he started using those interviews to continually dig away at the club, I admitted I'd been wrong again.

All of which shows how football supporters can base huge opinions on virtually f*ck all <laugh>

After seeing Rooney’s comments I hope we absolutely smash them.

The worst thing we could do is going into the game too complacent and think all we have to do it turn up.

We still have to earn a result, we still have to put a shift in and play to win.

I don't think I have ever been this optomistic about a season since we lost the playoffs agaisnt Charlton, I knew then we would push on.

    Haway the lads.

Great thread again RTB. Thank you. Disappointed to be missing this one but it's my daughters hen weekend so the wife and all the rest of the family (females) are away for the weekend. Kennels are full so I'm dog sitting :emoticon-0127-lipss. Anyway if we play to our potential we should win this so long as we don't get complacent. I'm sure that won't be allowed. Not sure about changing Neil for Browne he's done nowt wrong so do you change a winning team. Good decision to have to make mind. Can't see anything other than an away win. Enjoy the day to those that are going and get behind the lads.
