That all comes because they were under the cosh. Midfield was swamped due to the adjustment made by Rooney at half time. We didn't react to it and paid the price.
Mepham and Browne both too good to be sat on our bench imo. Especially when we’re losing control of the game, experience is pivotal in taking the game by the scruff of the neck. If he’s brave enough to bring Neil straight back in for Browne after we win 3-1 and he gets on the scoresheet then he’s got to brave enough to hook players when we lose.
They don't but you know as I do. Experienced individuals help younger players set, dig and gain yards. Unless you're saying that's not true ?

Our team have done it for 4 games. They didn’t today. I think we missed Browne’s leadership but the whole unit were much more messy and indisciplined today.

On a positive note even though we played really poorly we still scored 2 goals. Get the bad performance out of the system before Boro.
