so far 6 shots for plymouth and NONE on target. but has hit the post. 6 shots for rovers and TWO on target. both on target was tipped wide by the keeper.
another appeal for a penalty for rovers. norburn shot blocked by plymouth player! commentators unsure if it was a pen though. commentators says the previous 2 penalty shouts should have been a penalty. i bet plymouth get a soft penalty now.
looks like route 1 football as brunt and harrold upfront. need some quality sevice from a team who has shown no quality in over 80 mins.
o'toole booked for something he said to the ref. apparently the free kick plymouth scored from was never a foul. we have had 3 pen shouts, 2 were dead certs but not given plymouth get a free kick which wasnt a foul and they score. hunter now on for lockyer.
game over. lost 1-0. we got exactly what we deserved. nothing. harsh how we lost it as shouldnt have been a free kick (apparently) but plymouth were the better team although both teams were poor. we were just more poorer than plymouth. we did have penalty shouts but relying on the ref to do the right thing in this league is dangerous. we showed no quality in the final 3rd. 1st touch and last touch was poor. no link up play from defence to midfield and from midfield to upfront. gave it away too much and created pressure for ourselves. plymouth was poor as well and was there for the taking if we just stepped up a gear. all away games so far hasnt been great performances apart from the 2nd half at the gate.
