Thought Plymouth were one of the better sides we've played so far this season. Don't expect then to be in the bottom 3 at the end.

However, except for a few passages of play, we were the better side and deserved the 3 points imo.

Just a thought over the penalty.
When it was awarded Gooch ran over and picked up the ball, now he's taken them earlier in the season so how come McGeady actually took it.
    Any ideas anyone.

I can only guess he is our penalty taker
Gooch took the. In his absence
    Again we need clarification

I tried looking at your link and I've tried a couple of others and can't actually get any of them to work. I'm not exactly gifted in the techno department. However I did find one to watch and I'm still not sure from that. Looks different from real time so I will conceed that bit but the angle of the camera doesn't really show much. You got the penalty so it's completely accademic now anyway.

As for our 2 shouts well, they didn't lead to anything from the Ref so they aren't going to show it in league one. They never do. All you get is a 20 second outing showing goals or a red card. Anyway as said it doesn't really matter now it's over and you've banked another win and you move on. I did see a piece on the beeb football site about your epic yomp. To be fair we don't see it as epic from down here. I don't do away games but we do have plenty that do. Our local derby this season is Bristol Rovers. That's a 240 mile round trip. The third closest club to our's is Walsall in the midlands. It's always been the same for the travelling greens. At least we don't have to suffer that fecking advert by Paul Whitehouse anymore. I was in Belgium some years back and there was a shout of "Green Army" from somewhere in a park. Embarrasing or what. When we do the return trip there may not be 1300 but there will be plenty.

That is as clear a penalty as my windows are ****ing glass like.

How on earth can anyone debate that? Haha.

Just arrived back home after a cracking weekend. Good banter with the Plymouth fans before and after the game; proper set of football supporters. Very encouraging that we're able to manage games and weather the storm when teams put us under pressure.

Keeper has been massive for us. If we’d had him last season we’d have stayed up!!

Definitely mate. He's already won us so many points, almost as many as the clowns in net last season cost us!

After 16 games in the Championship, last year's League 1 runner up is even on points with West Brom.

Great win again and keeps us on a roll that also brings confidence and self belief. Something we have been lacking for many years. Great to see hard work, passion and enjoyment on the park. Still long way to go but so far so good. Without getting ahead of ourselves I think the name of the game from now on would be to try to nail the promotion spot as early as we can. Maybe one or two leave in January and one or two come in. Jack Ross and Stewie seem to have that sorted at long last. It’s amazing what you can do with a football club if you apply the same ethics as an owner as you want your team to play on the pitch.......

I don't think we have "bossed" a league game yet tbh., but we will under this manager, and we will be promoted, onwards and upwards.

In hindsight, is that what we'd have preferred ?

Stewy, Charlie, Jack and Juan etcetera would almost certainly not have been here to do what they have, to sort of start again with every aspect of the club, so we would have been given more false hope to follow what we've had for blinking ages :emoticon-0112-wonde

It might sound crackers, but I'd rather be where we are now :emoticon-0105-wink:

I don't know really though - if the same thing had happened in the championship (notice the size of the if!!) and Stewart Donal et al got involved would we be pushing that league too? I'd rather be where we are now than still struggling in the championship. So far I have enjoyed this season more than any in recent memory. Not bothered that, as a number of my mag mates say "you're in the third division" - I'd rather look forward to and ge the butterflies I did years ago when watching my club. Falling back in love with it

I don’t live in Sunderland, but if I did I’d be far happier there than Plymouth.

Cheers for your input though, about as useful as your football team.
