Where is that. Cracking atmosphere. Isn’t it great to see so many young Leeds fans enjoying themselves. Makes an old guy like me feel my job is done as a supporter and we’re gladly handing over the keys to next generations
There's some weird stuff in that same YouTube stream. How do they group Leeds celebrations with blokes riding flooded streets on a sofa, robot dogs, people using phones as flipflops and wotnot.
Pinnacle sports and games bar. Its just off Bond Street. Bond street is just across the road from Becketts bank wetherspoons. Its a first floor bar so have to go through a door and up some stairs. Screens everywhere, couple of pool tables, couple of dart boards and the obligatory expensive drinks. It does serve 2 pint steins.
'I predict a Riot' just after final whistle in the same bar. https://youtube.com/shorts/vfUx7lZFZsE?si=-3cwexTcXvlrq8nY
Will check that out next season. On subject of price of pints we guzzled many in witherspoons Monday across from the merchant. Pints of coors were2.99 which was cracking value I thought
Burnley have got away with plenty of these all season. It's a minor miracle that they kept pace with us. Hopefully their luck runs out next season and they beat Southamptons record.
As long as we get 4-6 pts from them I wouldn't mind them getting a few pts from the "established" 17 (especially the ones likely to finish closer to the bottom 3).
I’ve signed myself up on their site and your good wishes seem to be reciprocated. And we are the lucky ones because we keep winning in Fergie time, apparently. looking forward to seeing how they do next season. And how we do, obviously. can’t decide who will do better - I can see a scenario where their excellent defence continues to do them proud while our chance-producing machine finds life tough at a higher level. But I can also see a scenario where they keep the opposition down to one goal but fail to score themselves. Will be interesting.
They are deluded. Every stat indicates that they should have conceded more goals than they have. The number of big chances missed against them is unbelievable. As Milky mentioned, the stats suggest that they should be 20 plus points less than they are.
I’ve been pondering the same point as your last paragraph. My gut is that the sides who have a chance of survival usually do so with a tight defence. But then it’s only good fortune (and good keeping) that makes Burnley’s defence better than ours. Though Trafford actually got dropped last time in the prem (admittedly behind kompany’s defence not Parker’s) as he became shell shocked from the regular drubbings. Staying the obvious but you need to be able to stay tight and still offer a threat. Both sides have work to do to get the balance right. Burnley improved as the season went on to be fair but think they have a harder job. Let’s see what the transfer windows bring.
We're pretty tight defensively. A new keeper is an easy upgrade and a left back that can defend is another one. With the pace we have we could be dangerous on the counter in the prem
