We have a very soft underbelly desperately need someone to control defensive mid when we lose the ball they are lost puts the defense under ridiculous pressure every time. Some goo build up play but again up front need a bit of intent no good just being happy to pass it around and put a hopeful ball in. Very frustrating because we are so close to being a ridiculously good team

I'd take Roberts off and Rusyan and put Aochiche and Mayenda on.

Do you see any commitment heart or desire in the team today
I feel there a bit flat. Infact I think there are playing with the mindset
    We are better than them
However we are better than them let’s step up and show it

Been brought back down to earth first half to be fair. Still a 2nd half to come though and we've seen a fair few times the fight these lads have don't give up the ghost.

Im not fickle, I don’t change my opinion at the drop of a hat based on the last result mate Check my previous posts even when we win if we concede weak goals I’ll call it out, as I did after the Birmingham game surrounding the discussion about our defenders I’ve been banging the same drum all season our defence gets cut open far too easy when teams attack us.

Talking about the second mate. Was terrible defending. Don't you agree ?

We have been on top.most of the half, behind to a fantastic strike and then got caught with to many up field.

Jobes hit the post, Roberts had 2 good chances that he fluffed. Rusyn made some.good runs and missed a header and a shot.

All in all a frustrating half but not throwing the baby out with the bath water.

Tempting to try Adil for Ekwah though

As much as I like Dan Neil going forward, he's a better defending midfielder than Ekwah. Ekwah and Roberts off for me and Adil and Ba on at half time. Time to earn your coin Tony

once again, play well, but not making chances then go a goal down from their first attempt then two down from their 2nd on target..not really going to comment on the players as my IPTV has got crazy the past couple of days but my opinion is that the team are still playing like they have no main striker and at times simply move the ball around too slow.

there is no reason that i can see that the lads cannot get back into this and probably win it.

Totally agree with that mate. We are playing like they are inferior. We all know they are but they need to prove it. They need to up the intensity.

Roberts is one of our best chances to score/create but he rarely does.

Teams will let us dominate the ball because they know for most of the game we’re doing nothing with it. They just wait for the turnover of possession and suddenly you’re running at a defence that’s lopsided because Hume is playing into the midfield and O’nien is pushed higher up the pitch.

Jobe in the middle of the pitch protecting the back 4 and Adil behind the striker would change how we play massively imo. Adil brings the quality we lack in the final 3rd and Jobe is an absolute unit the f**ker is bigger than Rodri and he’s 18 we should be taking the risk and utilising that.

I see it sometimes with my grandson's team. They've won 21 games straight and think all they have to do is turn up and they'll win. My grandson had definitely got that mindset but I try to get in through to him that to beat them you have to work hard

Think the overriding feeling is frustration.
I've seen so many bad teams over the years where you just give up no hope of them ever doing anything.
but this lot are so close to being a great young team Tighten up in the middle and start having a bit of intent in front of goal so much good posesion and passing but lack of quality end product
