I think you're looking at it in the wrong light. The whole focus isn't just about how much it will be, I believe the main focus is that we had a really good thing going with the BBC, it's what the F1 fans wanted. We are right to protest, numbers were going up, not just because of Lewis and Jenson becoming world champions, but because the fan base got what they wanted. We then got other people involved, they enjoyed it and it went from strength to strength up to now.

We are now being silenced by Sky and the BBC, trying to make it out that it isn't a problem. We are like this because they did this deal under our noses and showed no respect to the fans. This was verbally agreed at Silverstone but was revealed in the open at Hungary, all to avoid as much damage as possible...

And now the teams are stabbing us in the back, saying we should pay more all because they can't get their finances in check. It's the same thing when we bailed the banks out, I'm not rolling over to Williams, McLaren etc... all because they want a few more million to keep the car running. If Williams want more money, maybe they should try harder promoting themselves by having an event were you can throw bricks at the their team base.

They say pay tv is the "future" for all sports and we should just roll over. The funny thing is though, the majority of fans (75-85%) don't want to be involved in that "future" and are getting sick and tired of being forced to pay, or left out to dry when to watch sport on the TV.

One day all you be able to see is a bunch of obese gamers playing some ****ty shooting game since every sport on TV is owned by Sky sports. But I'm sure the BBC would ditch that as well when all the sad bastards want to see Grant Michel on Eastenders return for the 30th time....

Can't wait for the "future" to come... *points gun to head*

I hope you don't really perceive our different stand-points as a 'battle' Cowboy. All lovers of F1 are essentially on the same side, which is why we're all here.

The thing is that those who buy into this imposed situation are justifying the reason it is happening and presenting the return on the investment of those who are expecting and hoping for your capitulation and compliance.

Worse still: this move has the potential to ultimately destroy the very thing you love (I hope not to offend - and that I'll be excused for suggesting that this is really in a short-sighted way), so much that you are willing to pay for it! It could be argued that those who really love the sport and want to see a healthy future for it, are those who are making a stand right now , witnessing their 'loved-one' being hijacked by a sub-criminal who is going to hold us all to ransom: a ransom you have declared a willingness to pay; which, along with others like you, undermines not only the vast majority of those who want to see a long-term solution, but the very thing you admire and declare love for itself!

Italy's Mafia only succeeded because of people paying up. It would never have got off the ground if people didn't cough-up to 'protect' the things they loved would it? The Mafia gangs knew this and exploited the weaknesses of those who capitulate. It's animal warfare on an international scale and it is threatening the thing you love…

    Right now!

Make a stand while you have a voice, or capitulate to F1's Mafiosi.

Are we allowed to forge? Such as sign the petition 10 times, say under different names and emails and the other details??

Or would this be a step too far?

It seems to be set up so that duplicate signatures are not possible. I wouldn't recommend it anyway, I think petitions can be declared void because of it. This used to be the case at least.

That would be fraudulent wouldn't it Cameron! Where are your principals? Stand up for yourself and be counted and do not undermine your own purpose!

It's not far from someone declaring they dislike a certain situation whilst going along with it and thereby perpetuating it; rather like declaring a hatred of litter whilst throwing rubbish in the Thames, for instance…

Oh, abso-****ing-lutley! I knew Cameron was fake way back when he said "The Queen Is Dead" was his favourite album. It just didn't ring true. Of course, now we know his favourite music at the time was Phil Collins (fits him perfectly) and that a phone call from the Palace secured his first job with the Tory party: the Queen is dead, my arse! The Queen is on the phone asking for a favour was more like it. I know this may sound trivial or irrelevant but it was such a cynical PR ploy to portray himself as sensitive and alternative and told me clearly he was a fraud and a liar. Well, he is a politician, what did I expect?

Actually, 'slimy ****' sums him up perfectly. Rant over.
