Superb read. Spot on and 100% agree with everything there! The man is a born winner and a fan and a realist of norwich city at this current time he wont win much, if anything. It also comfirms the transfer budget will be increased by £10mil so were talking £20-25mil for the coming season, alot of money for a norwich transfer kitty, enough to keep the boards aim realistic... Premier League Survival <ok>

While all this may be true it doesn't alter the fact that we will need a new manager before the start of training and we may have some poaching going on for players and some may well be unsettled with the thought of a new manager coming in.
I have never been angry about Lamberts ambition and probable wish to manage a "big" club. His ambition has helped get us where we are. I don't worry about next season or who is playing for us. Its football and as Dennis said, we will know how Colchester felt. If we lose our "best" players, good luck to them.
It is exciting following NCFC. Never seems to be a season now without some drama or crisis. If I wanted cosy football I would watch a local junior team.
But the points about our board and their determination that we never look into the abyss of adminstration again is far more warming than worrying about Lambert or Holts ambition.

Thanks for the link Supers. I always rate Rick's posts and he seems to stick mainly to the facts.
