Right then guys. Everyone knows that things are out of hand here, so as mentioned recently we want to step up our efforts in stopping things going too far.
Now to make it easier for us, we will be starting from now, what has happened recently, although not under the rug, will not be dealt with as similar instances FROM THIS POINT onwards.
Although most of these are covered, thought it best to reiterate what we intend on doing.
- There will be no abuse aimed towards any member. If you are in receipt of abuse, then do not get involved, just PM myself and/or Valley and leave us deal with it. If you get involved and return abuse, you will find both parties warned or banned. Its not up to us to sort out who called what first, if you abuse someone, you will be dealt with. This abuse includes belittling of members to get your point across. IF you cannot do it without abuse or belittling, then refrain from posting.
- Swearing, now I am not bothered too much about swearing, after all the site has a swear filter, but, where we have to draw the line is swearing aimed at fellow members. Swear to your hearts content about the games, or whatever, but any swearing directed at other members will be dealt with. This includes telling any member to "f**k off".
- Stirring. there are a few who like to stir, and if we believe your posts are there to do nothing but stir, you may find yourself with a warning, or a ban.
- Take responsibility for your own posts, don't tell us you were only getting back at so and so for what he said, this is not the school ground. Report it, and leave it to us.
- If a mod asks you to stop something, then that is your warning, continue, and you may find yourself banned. Its not hard.
- If found to have multiple accounts, we will put in a request for all accounts to be banned. This includes making or using a multi account if your main account is banned.
- This is not, and has never been a Swansea forum. I do not moderate in a "this is our board" attitude. So, any unwarranted abuse aimed at any outsider will be dealt with, as will any outsider that comes here to disrupt, within reason. We like banter, we don't like clowns.
Of course the above is all depending on the nature of the posts in question. We are not here to rule with an iron fist, but from now on we will be stepping up our role as forum mod, and trying to get this forum back on track. As I am sure we can all agree that its getting out of hand, and we want the forum back/ We don't care who gets offended, the forum is the priority.
If at any time you have any issues with us, then you can either PM us directly, or get in touch with the super mods to complain.
