Us and Them And after all we're only ordinary men Me, and you God only knows it's not what we would choose to do Forward he cried from the rear And the front rank died And the General sat, as the lines on the map Moved from side to side Black and Blue And who knows which is which and who is who Up and Down And in the end it's only round and round and round Haven't you heard it's a battle of words The poster bearer cried Listen son, said the man with the gun There's room for you inside Down and Out It can't be helped but there's a lot of it about With, without And who'll deny that's what the fightings all about Get out of the way, it's a busy day And I've got things on my mind For want of the price of tea and a slice The old man died
I hear what you are saying and it could be something we look at, but, one flaw is the unbiased bit. When I have my super mod hat on I have to try and be unbiased, not a problem on all but the Sunderland board because of course I am on all other boards. When it comes to the home boards and their mods they are mean to be biased, in favour of the boards members. They have basicly two roles, to protect the forum for racism, abuse, slander, lible and to do their best to ensure the board is run how the fans want it but at the same time trying to be fair with visiting fans. The key is self moderation, its what the forum was built on but with more and more people joining it is becoming harder to achieve. I really believe that in the main the mods do a good job and the members are fair, at times, and Sunderland are in that time, flash points occur, tempers get stretched and things said that would not normaly be said. When this happens you want to shout at someone then up pops your local rivals and they will do, not fair or helpful but understandable. The key to me is how we move on and we always do, hopefully with just the odd bloody nose to show for it all.
