    Dearest Sunderland fans,
As a QPR supporter, trust me we know how you feel about under performing wnakers and counts that are being payed a fortune at pretending to be profeessional footballers!!
Truly believe that this could be the start of a new dawn if PDC is successful with his vision of having players who are 100% committed to the organisation paying their wages and behave as consumate professionals. Also believe that for this to happen you guys need to remain 100% behind the man, you have a real chance here to once again love the players as well as your club, in fact I'd go further that the vast majority of fans outside the "Big Ones" feel exactly the same and desperately want this to succeed.
My new 2nd favourite club is now officially Sunderland - But only if you all fight this with PDC.
Come on you can do it!
    Best rgds
A supportive but annoyed, sad, dissappointed, disilusioned QPR fan.

I sincerely hope he doesn't alienate the dressing room.
His outbursts this week are what we all want to hear but I wish he would keep it all in house.

I back PDc all the way , he is the reason were still a prem club **** the players who complain if they don't like it **** off ,they get paid huge sums of money yet feel the need not to perform PDc is right the players need to show fight and respect the club ,the badge, and the fans.
The players have had an easy ride for to long which is why we struggle every season ,PDc will get rid of the bad apples nd hopefully were left with players who are committed and if that happens I for one will be happy

Is that the very same way Bardsley and his ilk kept it in casino house, public house, whore house etc?

Im all for it. A quiet talk behind closed doors, a few sorry looks, some nodding of the head and a handshake with an empty promise of doing better... hmm, how long will it last before they all fall back into bad habits? If we had players who were winners, ones who were only let down due to tactics then fair enough, I would be a bit against PDC going public. BUT! These players have failed for 3 managers!! Sure, Bruce wasn't the greatest manager, MoN should have been was a very soft touch, and Paolo seems to be getting his tactics right (apart from Villa, but the players were shocking). This is exactly what we needed.

Players like Colback, JoS, Alfred, Rose etc dont need to worry about their professionalism and integrity being called into question. We can see they want to play each week. Players like AJ have the quality and are already performing better under PDC than the whole time with MoN. He has come out and stated his alliegence to Paolo as he was one of the ones on the border. Players like Bardo, Killa can **** off. Players like Wickham need to buckle up as he can be very good under Di Canio.

He can alienate the players who deserve it and need to be shifted on. Do you imagine players who train hard, and want to do well are going to want to be pulled into a relegation battle each year from players who cant be ****ed? I know I wouldn't. All that's going to happen is show them Paolo means business, and wants to win. That's why Ellis brought him here. Get on board or get out. Players play, train hard, and live by the rules, then Paolo wont get on your back. He will treat you with respect as you are respecting him and the club and the fans. That's all he wants. And I love it.

If it means getting rid of players like Bramble then I'm all for it, just think some things should be sorted behind closed doors.

Only time will tell if PDC's shock and awe tactics are what is needed. Although I agree that some things are best dealt with behind closed doors I think PDC is speaking to supporters as well as to the players. If we understand why some "big names" are left out and that he is taking discipline seriously he knows he will get our backing. For too long our players have been abusing the belief we place in them. I pray he gets the support he will need.....and I pray he actually is as intelligent as he seems to be, we need wisdom as well as committment to turn the corner.

Cant see it alienating the likes of Catts, Colback, fletcher, Johnson et al. It will alienate those who dont give a ****. They will be shunned and they can go and ply their trade at a level more suited to them, like the Azerbaijan premier league

If the players stick to concentrating on football in the professional manner in which they are paid thousands of pounds a week, then they'll be no need for PDC to have anymore outbursts and then everybody will be happy!

It's a bold strategy for sure but to be honest, its very risky too.

I'm a little concerned at the public nature of The outbursts and the effect that may have on potential new signings.

SAF was the best at keeping the dressing room bollockings in house and defending his players outwardly. He was then ruthless with those who crossed his path but never in the public eye.

I'd prefer that to what I see from PDC right now but I think he is also forcing Shorts hand as well now . That either means he has full support or might just piss him off too.

    We shall see soon enough.

imo pdc has met it head on and must have support of board and supporters

In my opinion it seems obvious that we have a cancer within the club which most certainly needs drastic surgery to put right...I sincerely hope that Di Canio is the man to do it..

Bardsley and Kilgallon chose to be fekin tw*ts and brought the Club into disrepute. They also, at a time when PDC was asking for passion and commitment, called into question his authority; he could not afford to keep it in-house. Hopefully a line has been drawn and the players realise their responsibilities to the Club and, most importantly, the fans.

    Bang on Vince.

I'll gladly accept a season of relative mediocrity if it means straightening out the club I adore long term.

One big problem with stating the reason why players are being shipped out publicly will be the money side, what club will buy a player knowing why he has to leave, you could end up with people on the books who lose their focus but wont leave either.

Yes pdc needs to keep some things in house. I tend to think once he has done a few weeks of chest beating he will know when the time has come and that the message has got through then settle down a bit. Just in his first few weeks us fans have been saying this is great, kick some backsides, kick out the dross. Well he's started to do it and we start to moan. If and it' s a big if, we finish 6,7 or 8 next season we won't mind too much about pdc kicking a few backsides in public. If we finish 18,19 or 20 then that's a different matter. Players won't come or not based on pdc's style. It will as always be on how much money they earn. Come in and EARN it by all means or sling your hook is what pdc is saying and that's fine with me.
