Shock, horror that the success which Martinez had to keep the Lactics in the Premiership means that he may well be a target for the now vacant Liverpool manager's job!!

All football fans should voice their feelings in support of Martinez staying put!! (Please!)

Obviously not happening now, but surely you couldn't begrudge him a shot somewhere else? I know it's a bit horrid to say, but the old addage 'taken the club as far as he can' seems to apply here, no?

Well he can't seem to get them to progress further up the table so I'd agree with you

He's barely made the squad his own and that's why managers need time to change things around, especially if you're changing the whole club philosophy, as Roberto had to do when dealing with what Bruce had left.
He's been promised transfer funds and most of our squad are on long term deals now anyway, so lets just see what he can make of the coming season before saying he's taken us as far as he can, as most Latics fans can only see a vast improvement on last season ahead of us, certainly in terms of league points anyway.
