    Headline is "Arsenal among five Premier League clubs eyeing Mario Gotze".

    That much is true. We will probably be scoffing in the trough rather than dining at the top table. Certainly can't compete with Arsenal on wages or transfer/signing on fees.

    The reality: Arsenal sign Gotze as a replacement for Wilshire; Wilshere moves to Everton freeing up Lennon to move to Burnley; Burnley allow Johann Berg Gudmunsson to move to Aston Villa; Villa release El-Mohammedy; El-Mohammedy moves to Hellas Verona; Hellas Verona confirm they have no standing interest in Rolando Aarons who returns to Newcastle United. It is like a new signing.
