He has only ever had one team promoted from the Championship, mate. These last few years, it seems that teams are seeing him as a sort of stop gap manager. He is coming to the end of his career, IMO.
He's at Rotherham, mate. They brought him in when it looked as though they were nailed on to be relegated. He came in and went about 10 games unbeaten, winning most of them and pulled Rotherham clear. Whether or not he could do that over a full season with a club like Rotherham, remains to be seen. I have my doubts though...
