I’ve been very sensible this year. We get £35 a week in child benefit and it goes straight into savings. Last year was a write off at Christmas due to lockdown etc and a lack of gig income, so I’m determined to ruin the kids this year. And the wife!!
Good man, it sounds like your kids are going to have a great Christmas for sure. I'd love to get my kids loads of stuff but it's getting to the point that we're going to need to rent a storage unit, can't move in this house without standing on a car or dolly.
On the other hand me and my wife were looking on love honey last night as that's where she wants her presents from this year so that's something to look forward to

As someone mentioned, set up discord. I tried to get one from when my son decided he wanted one last December, managing to get one in August.
I got mine from a local Argos, they seem to get stock in quite often recently. Missed 2/3 from Smyths Toys - this was due to me not purchasing quickly - set an account up so it makes it quicker.

Thanks for the heads up mate, sadly the spending too much on clothes habit is still going strong so I reckon it'll be sometime after Christmas.
Nacho I got one from Game in Sports Direct at Durham. They put you on a list and call you when they’re in. One per customer so you can’t get loads and eBay them!!
Nintendo got into bed with sony for them to produce a CD rom based addon for the super nintendo and then pulled out at the last minute - sony then decided to release the device but called it playstation instead - the rest is history as they say.
I remember reading about the add on in a nintendo magazine when i was a kid, was disappointed it never came out but didnt realise until much later it was the playstation.

Sony were supposed to be going into partnership with Nintendo back in the early 90s. Without telling Sony first, Nintendo publicly announced that they would no longer be going into partnership. Naturally Sony were pissed off and decided to make their own console...... not sure what happened after that. lol
See my post directly above. Nintendo went with the Philips cd-I which was ****e. Sony then used the tech to develop and release the PlayStation.
I remember seeing the piece about it in a magazine in the early 90’s. I was a massive Nintendo fanboy as a kid.
