IMHO - the current playoffs format is an absolute Joke.

How can a 88 pt team Brighton take on 74 pt Wednesday??

WTF is the point of having 14 pts extra.

I say, have playoffs if the difference is less than 6pts. Or else forget playoffs.

Brighton 88
Hull 83
Derby 78
Wed 74

Something like this.

playoff 1 - Wed vs Derby - Monday
playoff 2- Hull vs Winner playoff 1 - Wednesday
playoff 3 - Brighton vs Winner of Playoff 2 - Saturday

This gives Brighton the respect for their 14 pts extra.
