I have nothing against Adams and even less against Morecambe. They have outperformed themselves this season by getting promoted but they are a very small club with little or no resources and I can't see them staying in league one for long. Adams does extremely well with little or no cash but he will have to be a magician here. You know what it's like to be a minnow in a big pond so you should cut them some slack and hope for 6 points at the same time. I will for us.
Notts County through in one play-off beat Chesterfield 3-2 Tyson missed a one on one chance when it was 2-2 & County scored in the 90th. They are playing Torquay away now
I'm hoping Torquay get promoted after the way their fans treated us in 2014 when we won 3-0 at their place that sent The Gas down to The Conference, living in Somerset it was one of the best days of my life.
The final of the National League play-offs are not till the 20th June that gives about 6 weeks until new season
I am hoping Torquay get back into the league. We need more clubs in the football league in this area. We have never had a rivalry with them like Exeter. They are closer so not sure why. Maybe because we haven't been in the same league as them so often.
Shame always had a soft spot for Torquay as I had family down there and used to spend the summer there and Cowplain where I also had family my dad was born in Portsmouth so went to Fratton Park and to Plainmoor as my first introduction to League football
Watched this game. Complete travesty by the Ref. I have no idea what the Ref saw to disallow one of the goals Torquay scored let alone both of them. We won't talk about the possibility of any penalties in the game which he didn't see either. Where is VAR when you need it. Brilliant headed goal by the keeper and every bit as good as the one Liverpool scored. Bet he won't be on the front pages of the press though. Gutted for them and even more so that they were robbed rather than lost the game.
