To be honest this is right on the nail. We deserved a point, but giving the ball away in bad positions, despite overall very good ball retention until they scored, and bad luck f*kked it for us today.

Reminded me of the Wembley cup final replay. All over them and get sweet FA.

Your seriously considering calling a 2-1 loss our best EVER performance? Mirror. Look in it.

A fickle fan will look justat a result **** knows there are so many on here it's amazing how little fans know about the game. Yes we lost but those of you who don't have eyes watch the match again. our movement and ball rentention was as good as any QPR team without doubt. I seriously cannot understand people who do not know the game at all. With a new team we totally dominated the midfield that is not a accident. A 2-1 defeat is a bad result not a bad performance.

That was from kick off by far the best we have played at any level. I will also pick an argument that this will be the best QPR team of all time ... if you cannot see how we are growing then get a mirror yourself. I know my football and I am very happy and proud to write these words ... not fart about with useless formations or moan about players. If you can't award 10 points to each QPR player after that then you are already lost to the fickle side.

Each man was fantastic and teh team looked sharp ... I cannot see anything apart from getting stronger

Thanks for that insight. I wasn't at the match (Spurs v) this year but what you say bears out what we all saw against Chelsea and the first half commentary, a team really coming together and playing good football. Had the OG (which sounded very unlucky) not happened we ould all be pleased. V WHU and v WBA are big games for us now. What worries me more is the injury situation. Bosewinga off after 3 mins to add to Johnson, Ferdinand and Fabio. That's a worry. Also a bit worried about strike force.

I would write a long post explaining exactly why you've got me misunderstood, but I generally cant be bothered. If you want to call me out on 'not understanding football' then your trying to argue with the wrong person. I could talk to you about up and unders and patterns of play for hours, not to mention the different set pieces certain teams use etc. It's quite obviously not worth my time. As for 'knowing little about the game', then lol.

I agree with you it was an amazing performance, the best i've seen from us in a very long time. Shame the result didn't go our way. BUT, I consider it an insult to many QPR teams of the past that you call it our best performance EVER, especially given the result.

To back up Oddball's point, a Spurs fan just posted this on their Board:

"QPR deserved a point, and look like a real contender for top six or seven"

I feel a win coming against ze Hammers.

haven't got a worry for the season with a performance like, as DT says its a bad result not performance & improving with every game, pass & movement was a pleasure to for a change.

Incredibly proud of how we're playing and am looking forward to the rest of the season.

A very few if onlys but otherwise well played one and all.

Nines - Phil M and I were there for a very quick pint.

My favourite bar maid wasn't there :(

Had to chuckle at the little lady serving me, holding the pint glass high above her head stretching to pour the pints!

It was however the only think to smile about last night.

The Reading fans started up a ‘sacked in the morining’ chant aimed at Hughes – I was hoping we could snatch an equalizer, win in ET and then sing back at them ‘Slough in the morning, you’re going to Slough in the morning.....’

Ha ha, the little 'ole lady served us as well. If only I was twenty years older.

Hopefully the other one will be back behind the jump on Monday night.
