A condition of the new deal is 4 old firm games, also meaning that there can be no league expantion to 16 or 18 teams.

You can read that one of two ways:

- If Rangers get ****ed by HMRC and relegated down the leagues then the deal is ripped up

or

- The deal all but guarantees that Rangers wont be getting such a punishment regardless of the outcome with HMRC as it would **** up the TV deal

There is no chance that they will relegate Rangers. Even if they go under and have to reform under a new name they'll still find some loophole to keep them in the SPL.

In terms of the price yes, there will be some provision in place by sky that if they don't get a 4th OF game they don't pay full price. If Rangers where to be removed from the league they I'd assume have a opportunity to walk away.
