Robert Fleck... Actually he was a top player too, but brilliant banter with fans and great at winding up opposition.
Too many players to list but the most notable for me are probably Phil Boyer, Chris Sutton & Robert Fleck. Always appreciated a really good striker
Have to feel for him. I was reading a book of football lists, and he was number one under 'sicknotes'. Part of it reads: Bringing his 'playing' career to a conclusion at Coventry, he broke his hand on a punchbag at the training ground, while recovering from a foot injury, that came on the back of a double leg fracture that he acquired in his initial comeback training session! The comeback training session was after a back injury which followed on from a hip injury which followed on from a groin injury! When he finally made his first team reappearance (some 18 months after the original back injury), he lasted just seven minutes before he was injured, and substituted for one last time as a professional footballer!
O'Neill used to spend vast amounts of time in Micawbers tavern at the end of Pottergate in the City. On the lash with Sean Carey and one or two others. Some of their 'drinking games' used to be races up and down Cow Hill which is cobbled One or two of his 'injury setbacks' were acquired this way

Craig Fleming as well for me, remember walking out of the shop at the ground and there he was just chatting to my dad as if they had been friends years ago and just met up again was very surreal but he seemed a really nice person
