I wasn't arsed by him, neither were many I reckon.

Not having Ibra either. Yes he'd eat himself if he was made of chocolate, but he's ****ing boss, his record is incredible - as is his CV.

The fact that his old man is a scrote, reflects on him, as the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. People hate him because he's a ****.

He is a massive bell end, but he's not a player that inspires hate imo. Those sort of players are invariably snides and out an out ****ehawks - like Craig Bellendamy

Aye, but that's football hatred for you. Pick a player you hate and then try to find a rational reason why. Players like Terry just offer so many reasons, which is why they get so much more hatred ;)

I can fully admit that my hatred for Drogba is at least partly driven by him having been the best Chelsea player by a country mile for the past decade, and having almost single handedly won around two thirds of the trophies the club has picked up over that period.

No. I think like many english players he gets an easy ride.

The same actions by a 'human' foreigner would have the country frothing at its collective mouth.

Human foreigners do not include rats from south america.

John Terry is one Englishman who does not get away with anything UIR. He is disliked severely by the entire nation.

This probably sums it up. Key players for successful clubs / rivals will always attract more abuse. Would Terry get anywhere near the abuse, stick and attention for his misdemeanours if he was an average player in a 'normal' side.

No-one has mentioned Marlon King whose about to do 18 months inside yet Terry parking in a disabled bay causes absolute national outrage.

He's a bell end. Everyone regards him as a bell end. And most fans hate him.

Remember how quickly it was forgotten?

That is because he was english ( obviously rivals will remind you every time he plays )

If anything, Terry, like Gerrard will forever be haunted by a slip. A lot more piss taking is done for his slip in Moscow than anything else.

To be fair to Terry he takes the stick well. i feel Steven will collapse and fizzle out over the next few years a desperate excuse for the player he once was.

Thats the one that gets me! <laugh>
Parking in a disabled bay, and the red tops referred to it as a "scandal" HAHA
I am allowed to park in disabled bays, but before I was, I did it on occassion.
There are normally like 10 disabled bays in shopping centres/Supermarket car parks and they are usually ALL empty. And quite often no normal bays available.
If the fine is like a drop in the ocean to you wage wise, I would probably do the same.

Pay the equivalent of pocket change or park 3 streets away and walk?

a few weeks after it was done.

The british press and public are pretty forgetful. Remember that missing plane? Me neither.

I love that people always mention his bentley too, like it makes it more of a horrendous thing to do.

A few weeks after what was done? That's my question, which incident are you referring to? And in contrast, which incidents to the press continually bring up about foreign players?

What do you want them to do? Do a piece every week on how much of a gimp he is?
Have a Terry Scandal corner and run a weekly column?
Besides, arent they still harping on about Diana like 17 years after her death? Wish they would forget that
