If they let him have the £50m they collected today he could easily make the errors of Hughes, or AVB at Spurs. Here's hoping.
A bit busier this week with nine additions taking the total to 53. I expect now we've reached the end of June and contracts are up there will be a gradual increase in speculation...
My Burnley supporting mate reckons that Southampton will be making a bid for Ings now that they will have £50 - £60m burning a hole in their bank account. Apparently Ings is out of contract and could be tempted by returning to the south coast......Vokes is tied into a 4 year contract but that's basically meaningless these days.....
They are going to have more than that, its just a shame Hughes isn't there to spend it! Shaw, lalana, shneiderlin, Lambert and possibly Ramirez are leaving. They've lost half their team.
Plus there might be more we don't know about, they've gone from a team that looked like they could challenge for Europe to half of them leaving, their fans must be gutted, Good job we avoid that by refusing to sign young players with any resale value!
