    Genuine question, how would it work regarding balancing the books, FFP etc if they were all payed off albeit very few in the squad?

    I guess it would go as a financial outgoing, so would reduce any potential spending budget.

    They haven't got long left on the contracts, but it makes sense not to pay them off and reduce the costs on them, ie loan then and get part of their wages paid, plus any loan fee we'd get.

    From a FFP perspective paying them off wouldn’t make any difference unless they took a reduced amount but all in one go.
