I think you're over reacting ffs, do you honestly believe that hes the first or last player to get stick from fans of the club they play for? Take a look at the Sunderland v Swans matchthread on here and you'll see a few harsh words aimed at your own players, you're singling the Allen situation out because you cant forgive the kid for leaving your club(fair enough)but please don't pretend poor little Joe is regretting his move because of the justified criticism hes getting.
Dai, I spoke to Joe Allen in town a few years ago and he told me himself that he grew up a boyhood Man Utd fan. Things obviously change, he signed for us at a young age came through the ranks and is now a Jack through and through. What happens at Liverpool quite frankly I couldn't give a flying Fcuk about, he made his bed and he can lie in it. I thought at the time that Joe could have done better if he'd stayed with us a bit longer, progressed as he had been doing and gone to one of the top clubs like Man Utd or Chelsea instead. Now he seems to be going backwards in his development. It will be interesting to see what Danny Graham does because it now looks like he's going to Boro instead, so to be fair to him it does seen as if he wants to move purely for family reasons.
