Mr B (Senior) has recently been spouting about looking at the players stats : he was tiring at the end, he was off the pace etc and he seems to have very accurate info about work rate, yardage etc. How is this info gathered 'live' from our hero's whilst they are actually playing?

He doesn't usually have the stats immediately, but you tend to notice something like say Gedo being quicker than his marker for the first hour suddenly being slower than the same player and stopping for breath every time the ball is somewhere else, and then you know he was tiring. Other things he's talking about are a combination of that game and stats he does have from previous games.

In terms of collecting it, I don't know if we're one of the clubs that does but you can attach small sensors to players before the game to monitor heart rate, movement, and other things. Plus obviously prozone afterwards you can just break down the game into 10 minute chunks and see a player's distance covered falling away after certain times.
