This article talks about it potentially being a season long loan. However more interesting is the the Yeovil manager's perception of Dan - http://www.thisissomerset.co.uk/story-16996317-detail/story.html
Would players like Burn benefit more by staying at the club, where he can train with Premier League standard players, if you send them to the lower leagues, they gain game time but aren't being tested above the level they should already be at. My thoughts on loans is that it might do us better to loan out to Championship clubs and not send them to the lower leagues, as do we really learn if a player can step up the quality of his performance in the lower leagues. Lets hope Gary Johnson (a Fulham fan) can get him performing well at Yeovil.
I think it can be different for each player. Burn is close but not ready yet for the first squad and while he would definitely have learned a lot playing alongside Grygera in the U21s, I couldn't see him even playing as they try and get him and Senderos fit. So it does make sense lending him out. However, the Club should be more strategic in planning the careers of the youngsters. For some, like Bettinelli, game time is probably all that matters but I agree with you SuperBri they should be looking to place players like Burn with a Championship side.
Dan Burn He had an eventful start to his period at Yeovil, scoring at each end - http://www.ciderspace.co.uk/ASP/news/news.asp?NewsItemId=18020 Prior to the game the young man admitted that he had been nervous - having to sing in front of his new team mates as an initiation ceremony. What we don't know was his choiice of song !
Neil Etheridge Another player making a fine start for his new club. The Bristol Rovers fan forum have some nice things to say about him after their 2-1 away win over Exeter - "Thought Etheridge was brilliant today, and in the end proved to be the difference between the two sides; quick off his line to deal with through balls Cureton and Gow were going to get to first, and made some good saves, one brilliant one stands out in my mind when one on one with Cureton in the first half as he tried to take it round him." http://www.brfcforum.co.uk/index.php?/topic/105669-goalkeeper-situation/ Apparently his 'full time' job is as a male model. Here is the weekly update from the Club on how all our players out on loan are doing, so includes Marcus Bettinelli and Corey Gameiro as well as the two above - http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2012/october/01/ffc-loan-watch
Dan Burn Having made his debut for Yeovil at the weekend, Dan is expected to play again tonight against Pompey. Here he is an interview with the local paper - http://www.thisisdorset.co.uk/story-17018959-detail/story.html
The game ended Yeovil 1 Portsmouth 2. Dan had a difficult last 10 minutes; a poor clearance from a corner led to a Pompey player scoring the winner from 6 yards and then he was booked just before the end. Marsh-Brown, who I'm sure you'll remember left Fulham under a bit of a cloud, also played for Yeovil. http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/262810/report
Nei Etheridge Fame and fortune is not favouring our boys on loan at the moment, Neil's temporary club, Bristol Rovers losing 1-0 yesterday. Their first defeat since he joined - http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2012/october/04/no-joy-for-etheridge
Dan Burn (Yeovil 3 Colchester 1) and Neil Etheridge (Bristol Rovers 3 Northampton 1) were both in winning teams today. However the star among our loan players was Marcus Betinelli who brought off a string of great saves in Dartford's 2-0 away win to Grimsby.
David Stockdale There are rumours again about putting him out on loan. I realise that things are difficult especially for David. However, the prospect of Symogyi being our cover for Schwarzer gave me the colly-wobbles; he was awful in the last two U21 games against Liverpool and Chelsea. http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/fulham-fc/2012/10/09/82029-31996669/ As with Hangeland, Stockdale's position needs to get sorted.
Neil Etheridge The Club have posted an update on how he's doing out on loan - http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2012/october/10/neils-loan-joy Despite the article referring to how well off the Club are for keepers, there are continual rumours that Jol wants to sign another, with experience. So not everything would seem to be to his liking. Clearly a run of competitive games is suiting Etheridge and at 22yrs I think this is the guy who'll eventually take over from Schwartzer.
Marcus Betinelli Our other keeper on loan had a bit of a sore back picking the ball out of the net 4 times as his temporary club, Dartford went down 4-1 to Telford on Tuesday http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2012/october/10/bad-night-for-darts

Dan Burn Dan played last night and helped Yeovil get through to the next round in a League Cup competition. Here is the Club report - http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2012/october/17/burn-and-yeovil-edge-through
Richard Peniket Good to see that the youngster is being given the chance to play for his kidderminster in the Cup. Should be good experience for him. http://www.footballconference.co.uk/news/details.php?news_id=8191
