Buzsaky is a good player, but based on goals scored and an ability to win someone a game. I would much rather Koren.

From a Leicester perspective however, If Buzsaky is free, he would seem the better option instead of a stupid battle between the Allams and your Thai's.

Buzsaky is a good player, great at free kicks too. <ok>

We don't need a player with 'the ability to win a game'. We have a lot of players with that quality.

Buzsaky is a year and a half younger, fills the gap we need filling, on a free and is probably on par with Koren in terms of ability.

It really is a no-brainer.

Other than the fact that Koren has 17 goals in 2 seasons from midfield...

And Buzsaky has 17 over 4 Seasons. <ok>

Serious no-brainer that one. <doh>

We don't need a goalscoring midfielder.

We have King, Danns and even Wellens chips in with the odd goal.

The game isn't just about goals <doh>

It is all about goals because if you don't score goals, you don't win. It's sort of a necessity should you want success. <ok>

And for that we've got Danns, King, Beckford, Nugent, Vardy, Schlupp, Marshall, Gallagher, Dyer and Wellens all capable of scoring goals.

I'd rather have Buzsaky as he fits perfectly where we want him.

Koren will probably cost us 1.5m and would sit on our bench behind King.

That's fair enough. But i was merely picking at the point where you said "The game isn't just about goals <doh>".

When really.... It is.

Well no, its not.

You need players who can keep the ball and keep it moving and to play the killer pass. Which is why i'd prefer Buzsaky.

I think both players would be good additions to the squad, but has there actually been any interest in Buszaky, or is this just wishful thinking? Did quite a good job for QPR last year despite not playing much, I remember him scoring a couple of goals including one great free-kick. As usual we still could do with someone with decent delivery (although this could with a bit of work be Marshall). Personally I think I'd prefer Buszaky but cannot see him being interested in us, whereas Pearson will certainly show interest in Koren. However, I don't think Koren will want to come to us.

How can football NOT be about goals?
and Proud_Fox, that's just stupid and contradicting yourself because what have the other team scored more of...? GOALS so that was a stupid post.

Of course the sport is based on goals. How you pass and get it in the goal doesn't really matter so long as the ball ends up in the goal.

That's like saying Golf isn't primarily about getting the golf ball in the hole, or rugby isn't about scoring a try, or basketball isn't about getting the ball into the basket, or pool/snooker isn't about potting.
It's the whole point of the game so yes, it is about goals. Imbeciles.

The poster formally known as Cagetiger - Have you ever heard of the saying "when you're in a hole stop digging" I'm sure you already realise that your simplistic statement about football is complete bollocks.

Whilst goals scored determine the outcome of a game - There is far more to a game of football than just goals - Now give it up, the easiest way out of this for you is to just stop posting on this thread <ok>

<doh>

Are you actually that stupid? Or are you just winding us up?

Well, Andy King would score more for Liverpool over a season than Lucas Leiva... and i know which team would be more likely to win!!

But a team of:

Kasper

De Laet(RB?) Morgan SSL Konch

Danns Drinkwater

Marshall Busacky Dyer

Nugent

not looking bad.

Firstly, well done for realizing I have had a change of Username Danger Fox, great analytic ability <ok>

And so you're basically trying to say that it's not goals that makes football?
You're supposed to score goals in football and the game isn't about goals?! Wow. So all this Season, I'm gonna tell everybody around me to calm down when we've scored because basically, it's not the main focus in the game. It's alright boys, I'll tell everyone it was you lads who noticed this ;)

I think why is thinks goals are so special is because he is a Hull fan so he very rarely gts to see any

When you looking to buy a player there is more to it then if they will be able to score goals

But that's looking at it from a transfer perspective. I'm talking about the game as a whole. Every manager, player and fan knows that goals are needed. Goals are the main focus. And scoring so few goals is fine, considering we had the 2nd best defensive record in the Division, it allowed us to finish 8th. Not that bad.

Hey gormless tiger - you are on a Leicester thread to do with players we are linked with ie poss transfers. So when you say 'that is looking at it from a transfer perspective', it just goes to show that we are able to keep on topic. Now slink back off into the long grass and butcher an antelope - or whatever you do come a weekend.

Ironically, hunting sounds like a good thing to do on a weekend! In Texas, not Hull....

Is McCormack leaving Leeds? or are these just rumors? cause i think he'd be a good signing, swap for Beckford? <ok>

Colin @ TWS wants to swap Ross McCormack for Brightons Craig Mackail-Smith according to SSN.

ffs can we just sign a good CB!!!

You can have Paul McShane from Hull City for £1.5m if you want ? He knows SSL very well. ;)

Tickler, you really like your multi-quote posts don't you?

Well yes to a point. When i find so many interesting posts to reply to its much easier. Others use this as well. :emoticon-0116-evilg

I don't mind him answering in quotes like that, but a lot back on our board are getting quite annoyed about it.

S'ppose it can be quite daunting when reading from a smartphone or iPad but life's always difficult ay? ;)

Well not my fault i use an ipad is it ? But i take the point though. <ok>

Apologies for returning temporarily Leicester fans, but someone PM'd me about Tickler's post and I felt the need to respond.

Tickler, if you sit behind me at the KC, are you the obese twat or the one who looks like a ****phile?

Oh dear. Someone PM'd me.Lol. Now who could that be i just wonder...Not ?. As for sitting right behind you ? no thankfully for both our sakes. For the benefit of Lesta fans we sit in the main west stand and OLM is below me. He likes to be vocal. He was embarrassing when we played Crawley Town in the FA Cup last season. Gave dogs abuse to Steve Evans the then manager and some of it was unacceptable and over the top. OLM actually stands for "Original Loud Mouth" but he gets humoured as scooter by some. :emoticon-0111-blush

As to being obese or a ****phile ? well neither. The fact he uses the last name is again the measure of him <doh>. Low IQ. OLM must be obsessed with Steve Evans and his waist size. But i can understand why OLM brings up the word "****phile" when he looks into the mirror.

Apologies to the Lesta fans but you need to know who you are dealing with in OLM. He actually offered to resign as a moderator a while back but some of his glee club persuaded him to stay on. Oh dear. <whistle>

Sometimes I talk sense, sometimes I talk bollocks, nobody's perfect.

As Jonesy would say, don't mention the war...

This time its the latter. It was actually Basil Fawlty in the episode called "The Germans" <ok>

Buszaky is a better version of Gallagher. I would have Buszaky over Koren
I'd rather have Buzsaky.

Reading would appear to be in pole position for Buszaky as he wants to stay in the PL according to reports from QPR.
