You may be right. I cant see them being players like Stewart who still are involved with the first team because they still have a game to play
 
I think, rather than going for the Sven approach of 'I like that player, lets bid a lot of money for him', we should think about what we need in terms of building a squad. So what positions do we think we need to strengthen? A lot of it does seem to be on a sell to buy basis.

I feel we should buy:

RB
CB (only if SSL/Bamba go)
CM (TBH not sure if this is that vital with King, Danns, Wellens & DW)
Winger (2 if Gally goes)
Striker (2 if Becks leaves)

He has a decent future but nothing more doesn't make anything happen or do much apart from miss open goals... you can have him if we get Waghorn

Dont see the names of Messi - Rooney - Gerrard on your in list. ? :shocked: Good luck for the summer as NP attempts to offload all his expensive flops. NP really does have to shift alot of wages first. There wont be much money available until he creates some. Lesta already fall short of the FFP regulations with your current squad nevermind trying to add to it. Good luck as you shall need it.

Thankfully Nick Barmby already knows who he wants in and they are coming once our owners give him the green light. But i do look forward to watching everyone else fight over targets. The only real winners are the players and agents. Hulls targets want to play for us and money is not the driving issue with them. I do wonder who will actually sign for NP and Lesta though.

Thats the best so far. <doh> Stringer really does need to live in the real world now and again. <whistle>

For the record I dont see any business being done between Hull and Leicester City for obvious reasons.

It doesn't matter who Barmby wants. His time is running out
 
Hull are ready to accept a £1.5million bid for centre half James Chester from Leicester City, making Barmby’s position even more difficult.
