Article on Bristol Rovers latest news stating that Rovers and M K Dons were interested also on the same site is an article saying that Sam Slocombe could be going on loan to Lincoln
Can anybody tell me why we have let Slocombe go on loan, Smith was appalling last night his kicking and his passing out from defence put our players under unnecessary pressure most of his kicks either went out of play or to the opposition, either we need 2 new keepers in on loan or at least recall Slocombe other wise we are going to be in big trouble. We lost a game last night that on play we should have had at least a draw and one of the main reasons for that was their GK who was outstanding plus our inability to finish. Lines sending off didn't help either but from where I was stood it looked a fair decision
If it's a short term loan, it may not be a bad thing for Slocombe to get some game time. Smith's made some good saves recently, but you're right his kicking and passing isn't always the best.
Just typed in Bristol Rovers and read a report where the Coventry manager slammed Bakayokos performance against Blackpool, on the side of the page was an item DC talks GK recruitment and states he is looking to bring in a GK on loan, it also state that Slocombes loan is a season loan with a view to being made permanent in the January window. I heard a rumour last night at the match that a Premier GK was coming on loan and possibly one other player. DC has also said that money is tight and so it is one in one out The above article can also be found on Bristol Rovers newsnow
Seems quite hard to get a decent keeper. For once we signed a couple of keepers and that hasn't worked so well. I thinks Smith's ok really. He's made some great saves, but it's his distribution that needs a bit more work.
'Money is tight' , I think the crowds might be tight as well this season as there doesn't seem to be too much to hang your hat on just at the moment
I am not surprised that Slocombe has gone. DC blasted him a few weeks back saying he wasnt happy with him. I prefer Smith to Slocombe but I am disappointed that both havent been as good as I had hoped when they both joined. Slocombe apparently has a 7 day loan as it was an emergency loan agreement. But the deal has an option for an extended longer period. So I guess its for a while in reality (as mentioned a season) but had to get it done as an emergency 7 day loan to begin with so Slocombe can be within Lincolns match day squad.
Both GK are awful IMO the worse we've ever had that said the defence is fooking ****e as well something DC still hasn't address
The reports from his previous destinations predict he ain't the cats whiskers. Is possible that at six feet four we may play him up front instead?
Joe Martin has signed on loan from Stevenage until January Joe is a LB. He made 23 appearances for Millwall during their promotion campaign and promotion to the championship, so he probably played with Tony Craig
