I'd say bamba and vassell were the best players out there. The guy sitting behind me was slating beckford from start to finish. apparently he's a waste of money already. Sometimes I think people just dont have a clue and shouldn't turn up.

Carew and Carlton Cole are just big fat lumps
I dont think Carew is as good as he was. Stoke had the chance to keep him after his loan spell and sign him on a free transfer but they paid over 10M for Peter Crouch instead. Villa rates Heskey more aswell.
Carew isnt the same players he once was
I'm mates with a Villa fan and when he left he went straight down the pub and celebrated
he always looked better than heskey at villa, and my villa mate was fuming that heskey was played more- thought to be because he was english. He isnt as good now, but he is a very very big boy. So strong he doesnt need to jump. Will put it away if there and a huge aerial threat. He wont create chances himself though.
