    Krul - 8 - another cracking display
Simmo - 6.5 - shakey at times but snuffed out Bale a couple of times
Colo - 8 - Best defender on the pitch today
Saylor - 7 -good game but should never used his left foot to tackle Ade
Raylor - 6 - average but really should of done better against Defoe
Jonas - 8 -was blistering and made a great cross for Ba goal
Cabaye - 7 - will play better and learn in the BPL backpasses will lead to danger
Tiote - 8 - MoM his best display this season
Obertan - 5 - He can run but can't play football at this standard
Ba - 7 - Worked hard and deserved goal number 5
Best - 6 -This wasn't his best day

    Shola - 7.5 - Cracking left foot today :)
Santon - 7 - energetic and linked up well, should start at Wigan
Ben Arfa - 7 -Lively and set up Shola well also and almost inspired a win today

Krul 6- Didnt really do much wrong but cant give him a huge great rating for doing nowt.

Simpson 6- Another questionable defensive display as usual, OK going forward in rare moments.

Taylor 7- Clumsy for the penalty but overall a solid performance doing very little wrong.

Coloccini 7- Good performance and go forward well when called upon.

Raylor 6- got forward well but didnt produce much, very, very poor for Spurs second goal (just watch him)

Obertan 5- Worst performance I've seen from him so far for us, not writing him off but he was not good today by any means, got nothing right.

Tiote 7- Made some crucial interceptions and passing was tidy but still not as good as we expect from him, still looking a shadow of the player he was last season IMO.

Cabaye 6- Didnt get involved very much at all, decent passing but nothing amazing, and poor awareness for the Spurs penalty, still think he needs to try harder to put his stamp on matches.

Gutierrez MOM 8- Again another stellar performance from this guy, defended fantastically as usual and relieved so much pressure from the back line, not to mention a cheeky assist and lots of positive midfield play. Undroppable atm as I've said many times.

Ba- 7- Right place at the right time for the goal (regardless of the fact it was right at the keeper) dropped deep in midfield to help out as usual which was crucial today playing against the 5 man midfield, still fit aswell! good times for big D.

Best 5- Seemed extremely lazy today IMO and hope this isnt a new trend hes decided to adopt, he needs to keep working hard every single game because theres still not a million miles of difference in Pardews eyes between him and Shola (not just because of Shola's goal)

    Subs:

Shola 8- For once everything he touched was spot on, he held the ball up well he passed the ball well and he scored a fantastic equaliser to salvage the point, well done Shola. (He should still be nowhere near the starting lineup next weekend though)

Ben Arfa 6- Very greedy at times. It was frustrating to watch, he had options available either side of him and decided to go for glory alone, he doesn't have to be that guy.. e.g our star man, a good skillful and selfless performance is all we expect.

Santon 7- Thought he was solid when he came on, defensively and offensively, not much else to say really.

Krul - 6 - Not a lot to do, couldn't have done anything for the goals.
    Simpson - 6 - OK.
Saylor - 7 - Bad defending for the penalty but made a brilliant block at the end.
Collo - 8 - Flawless as usual, could've, maybe should've won it at the end.
Raylor - 6 - Not great defending for the 2nd goal but did better than I thought he would.
Obertan - 4 - Made all the wrong choices and gave the ball away a lot. IMO shouldn't start next week.
Cabaye - 6 - Fairly average performance by his standards.
Tiote - 8 - Very good as usual.
Gutierrez - 8 (MOTM) - Brilliant both defensively and offensively. Still needs to work on his crossing though.
Ba - 8 - Really persistent at times and bullied their defence. Deserved his goal.
    Best - 5 - Disappointing

Shola - 8 - Brilliant goal and didn't put a foot wrong (like I always thought he would <whistle>)
Ben Arfa - 6 - Some brilliant touches at times and he obviously has class, but was also frustratingly selfish. Needs to bulk up a bit as well.
Santon - Didn't really get enough of the ball to have a rating, but hopefully he'll start next week.

The Cabaye comments are strange?! Did no one else notice how many tackles he put in, his closing down all game was tireless and his tackling was spot on. Suppose it's not a Hollywood performance as he didn't get involved in the attacking play, but quietly protected the back 4. Shame about his one mistake before the penalty.

I think Sky Sports ratings are spot on tbh. Best players were Jonas, Colo, Krul, Tiote, Shola and Ba.

I think Raylor has really grown into the LB role. Should have been goal side of Defoe for the goal but Saylor should have been closer as well.

Really want this defence for Wigan:

    Santon Saylor Colo Raylor
