What is your guys take on this... I have read this morning that Torres has handed in a transfer request and has been verbally abused. I personally feel that the lad has stayed and put up with a hell of alot since making his move from Athletico Madrid some 4 years ago (correct me if wrong).

I do think that Chelsea styleof football would suit him as long as he isn't there on Tuesday night, and since Liverpool have signed Luis Suarez I think for the right price, he will go. But if a certain someone went for 18 rising to 24 million, how much is Torres really worth?

Also on a selfish point if he does go, I think Liverpool will take more time to re-gain their footing in the premier league making that 6th postion up for grabs.

Can't believe i've typed this much so early in the morning...
 
How thick am I, all thsi talk and you know what, it never even clicked about him playing on Tuesday night.
Dont know what abuse he has had but certainly contracts are only there to ensure a good fee when the player leaves.
 
well if he has handed a transfer request in, should we offer a counselling service to our Liverpool brothers and sisters because lets face it, we of all people know how they must be feeling!
