To be brutally honest, NONE of the players deserved the award.
I can't think of any who has played well to deserve it.
Let's just give it to the fans

James Perch.. Our most consistent player of the season.

    Says it all really!

And the other 600 that were rightly ruled offside due to his inability to understand the offside rule

None for me. I can't look back and say that so-and-so had a really good season.

All we're looking at here are players who had possibly the least worst season of the lot of them.

Give it to the tea-lady, the bloke who puts the soaps in the bath, anyone but not to one of the players.

Demba Ba was a different class at the start of the season, he deserves it for those 13 league goals. They probably contributed a fair bit to our paltry points total.

Then it would be Cisse, Perch and Saylor for me.

Saylor for me, the entire team was woeful this year but without Saylor whilst Colo was out we would have been relegated a long time ago. Worked hard enough to get a call up to the England squad so he must have been doing something right this season.

Demba for his contribution before he left. Him aside l can't really vote for anyone else, all equally mediocre.
Glad to draw a line under this one and hope for better next season.
Hope to see some guts against Arsenal and go out on a positive note.

Tim Krul for me. Some of the saves he pulled off kept us in the game and won us points enabling safety.

Bosingwa for me, his quality at the back guaranteed our safety and for that, he gets my vote!
