Fully deserved Jobe. From being used in 4/5 different positions last season, including being our best striker, and getting quite a lot of undeserved stick, to being one of the best in the league this season. An absolute monster in midfield, has all the attributes to play at an elite level for the next 10+ years. To top it off he's a good lad as well.

Loads of comments talking about how he's only won it because of his name

Just watch the lad play. There's a reason he'll go for £25m+ this summer and big clubs that are renowned for signing young players are all over him. If Jobe doesn't play, Sunderland don't play and that's why he's our player of the season but a large margin.

 

That’s tremendous for both Rigg and Jobe and epitomises what we are about now as a club.

No complaints with the Clarke sale. He’d been superb for a while here and deserved a PL shot, just a same it was with a club who played a system that didn’t suit him one bit. Saying that, he won’t have a single regret about leaving us.
