It's a difficult choice as they've all done so well but have gone for Hugill. It's nice to have a goalscorer knocking around the place again.
It's nice to be in a position where you can make a compelling case for any of them. I've gone for Manning - a favourite of mine anyway. Ever present (I think) and a very tidy player. Probably more suited to wing back than full back but it's good to have a footballer in either role rather than someone that mindlessly punts it down the channel. Would have been Hugill if he wasn't a loanee.
Voted for Hugill too for much the same reasons. End product is what we've been lacking for far too long, but Eze an excellent 2nd, and the other 2 have been pretty good.
Voted for Hugill, as he has been the absolute difference between winning and not winning.....but feel it should be Manning. Manning has played in all matches, because Wallace is injured and has made the position his own. So many of his crosses have been exactly what is needed. A surprise, but predict he will be "Player of the Season" Having said that Eze, has become so much more the complete player this season, and I would have voted for him as he has done so much more for his defensive play...and he too is now completing 90 minutes. Last season he would fade before the end...but not this season. Enjoy him while we have him. He wont be with us this time next year......but Chair will Chair, is the creative sparkle to complement Eze. He is a little like Eze from last season, not quite having the strength to fully last 90 minutes, but it will come and he may even surpass Eze with ability. We will be able to sell Eze for real money, because of Chair coming through behind him.
I voted Eze, so nice to have someone deservedly wearing No 10 But so far, Warbs perhaps, pips these four
I voted for Manning. Normally creative players and goal scorers reap the headlines but Manning for me has been very consistent. However Hugill has hit the ground running and I am hoping that both Chair and Eze can keep up their performances.
I voted for Manning as he has been involved with everything. I rely a lot on the BBC live match day comments and his name is mentioned all the time be it a cross, tackle, shot, assist also people on here are positive about his play. I still think the best is yet to come because if Wallace does get the LB position it will allow Manning to play in midfield taking over from Ball/Scowen and we will see a creative ball winner at work. I also believe, at the moment, he is the one player that would be missed the most if absent from the team.
I voted Hugill. I do accept that he is a loanee, but is playing as if he was a permanent signing, which I am very happy about. Given the disappointments of the previous three seasons, I am just happy that there are four players making a noticeable contribution. To be candid, all four are deserved nominees.
I think Hugill is the player we would miss most as I don't think we have a replacement for him now. At a stretch Oteh could have, but he's gone on loan. I guess it would be Mlacar, but both him and Wells look better playing off a front man to me.
Definitely Hugill. But 2nd place is actually a toss up between the other three, which is nice. Manning has played really well in the last 3 games. Maybe Chair would just nick 2nd place. Then Manning, then Eze.
Definitely would miss Hugill. He also seems to be bringing out a positive aspect in Wells. We could be onto a great partnership building up.
So nice to have a competitive field, and people offering different but compelling reasons for their votes. What a refreshing change. Between Eze and Hugill for me. Hard call but I've gone Eze because it's great how well he is performing given the sh!7 he received from some of our 'fans' last year; it's great that he's picked up Freeman's mantle; and he's ours, not a loan.
I voted for Manning but I'm biased. I think his career with us has been full of up's and down's and Olly even loaned him to Rotherham last season as though he was totally unwanted in W12. There is a really decent player in there and he has worked on his strength. When he first got in the team, I always thought he was weak and easy to push off the ball. Now, he seems much stronger. Keep it up Ryan. PS I am sure Mick Mc Carthy will be having a closer look very soon.
Hugill for me. The lads head could of really dropped after THAT miss but far from it.....he’s just getting better and better.
Manning for me he really is filling into that position nicely Keep it up Ryan because seriously I can see him becoming a quality player there From a 1m player to sky’s the limit maybe a superstar
Chair for me He has got it all motoring in the middle of the pitch and the rest feeds off that energy Ezes space Mannings ability to get forwards Chances for Hugill to take With the rest joint 2nd inches behind him
Voted for Hugill before seeing who others had voted for. In a sense, the player of the match / month is meaningless since without the rest if the team functioning well, where would they be? Sometimes means more in a bad team eg there were times when only Barton (love him or loathe him) made any effort! Well done The team, MW and the rest. So glad to be a happy supporter. Just need to beat Brentford twice now for a truly wonderful season! Also rather pleased that we started off the season with a projected 21st place finish by the bookies who now have us at a comfortable 12th! COYRss.
I know Maclaren was a nightmare we'd alllike to forget but blame where blame is due. Mistaken identity in choosing the villain behind the Rotherham loan.
