whats the agreed fee on aspas then cos we paid 7mil for him.

Whats the agreed fee for alberto who's not played for malaga much but cost us 7mil??

I have not heard of any fees personally. both must be 8mil or higher.

mother o god as hash would say.

someone is willing to pay that for alberto...... then didn't play him most of year.

I hope to **** we get that. Malaga might back out mind.

5 mil on aspas is a good deal and all.

I expect to see undisclosed on each.

  5. With Alberto, wasn't the plan always to loan him out for a year? Same with Ilori...?

Just reading the reports on Sturridge. Actually think we should sell him if we get the right offer and go in another direction up front.

I don't know to be honest. he was not a good success was he. the fee seems massive to me when malaga had all the options.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-joins-Malaga-season-long-loan-Liverpool.html

radically different lfc prices quoted but no resale price i see.

alberto said in this it was a 2 year loan deal

we supposedly had a fee with manquillo agrred so maybe ther eis a fee for alberto but i can't see it happeneing in that league. 13mil is huge for a guys who's not done it.

aspas... i've no idea what will occur. at least when the second string played for seville he got a game or two but really he's done precious lttle in lal liga which should be the test.

  8. I think its harsh to judge Alberto on his time in a Liverpool shirt. He was thrown in the deep end much earlier than planned. He's still only 22 years old now. I don't think he's good enough for us but a two year period is more than enough time for a player to change from looking a wannabe into a quality player. I know its a one-off but look at Bale; he was about to be sold to Nottm Forest as a failed LB before a injury crisis saw 'Arry stick him at LM, he's never looked back!

sure sure but he looked way out of his dpeth in a premier league setting

He was a Seville boy sent to barca to play b team, they didn't take up option so we took him, he was not right so he's said **** it in that interview above and went off to spain which to my mind is a worrying sign then he's not made it there either after an initial start.

I think ok he can develop but thats like saying sinama pongolle developed but in the end we have to have some standards and anyone not good enough for top 4 level or at least upper half prem as squad player is not much use to us.... but his fee is of interest.

If bale was a good example there'd be more than a one of of him out there. yes not all at 22 are fully developed. that is true.

Surely flanagan :bandit: is a better example for you to use as a lad nobody in 92 league clubs had any interest in and rodgers turned to him is injury crisis.

Haha - not sure who would want a defender who is positionally suspect and was the 'most dribbled past' defender in the league last season ..

in fairness to the wee man... he might be average but he's proved he could do a job and honeslty in 4-1-2-1-2 he was left totally exposed as was the other flank and we let in a shedload not caring cos the other end had 3/4 players banging on goals all over.

nobody might want him but its only cos he's a huge risk in injury terms.

If he was solid player like say oh i dunno darby was he's have a small queue of lower teams wasting a guy who'd run through a wall for them

Spearing had not trouble because of this...

In fairness to henderson and sterling they might be wanting massive wages but they seem rock solid in terms of fitness.
