I had high hopes for Aspas, personally, because he was great in Spain. Shame he never got a look in except the odd 5min sub appearance. It's incredibly hard to force your way into a team or develop any consistency when your opportunities are so limited and sporadic.

 

Aspas is ****ing average. Celta Virgo were relegated the season he joined us, he was basically the older Spanish equivalent of Danny Ings.

 

We will end up with ings I bet. We will have more crap in our squad with another £60m or so wasted by Rodgers

I would definitely be keeping Manquillo - he's our best defensive full back, and by some distance. Criminal that he's being underused.

 

Manquillo is a cheap option if we have europa next year. Flanagan is shot and wisdom might also be option... so i think just make a call here.

Manquillo is not signed up he is in last year of loan when next season rolls in.

Never argued against Aspas being ****, he is. But to claim he is the worst player to have ever wore a Liverpool shirt is somewhat different
