Anyone else think that 442 is more suited to town and that we need someone along side Chops or woulds you rather see Chops isolated and play 451.

    Stockdale

    Edwards
    Ingi
    Delaney
    Cresswell

    CARSON
    Bowyer
    Leadbitter
    Martin

Hey Spanish, calm down fella, you been drinking to much rosy this afternoon..?

For what it is worth TS got turned inside out far to easily by Fryatt for their goal, but hey don't worry just sit back and wait for PJ to get the right players on board.....let's just hope it is not to late or we can write another season of too transition..!

The CB situation is a problem, it looks like our more intellectual supporters (Lancs & Westy) are finally realising that. As worryingly though today our 2nd half performance was dreadful, littered with mistakes all over the park, would be hard to say one player was more at fault than another. Their goal IMO was deserved, on 2nd half display.

Any positives? A few; Cressey was excellent by far our best, Edwards did well, Stockdales handling is very safe & Leadbitter actually took some corners that produced a number of good efforts.
Not sure if this is a + or -, Martin missed a couple of sitters in each half, one was a far post tap in that he just seemed to give up on, the second was a far post header that really should have been buried, good positions, but chances missed so I guess on reflection a -.!

Guys, this is not a competition of who is right and who is wrong, just pointing out from differing points of view of where we are with a potential playoff challenging team, sooner or later some of you will realise some of us were correct all along...;)

Not going to get into the how well or how badly will we do argument at the moment but I have to say that I expected something better than what I watched this afternoon. I know we had a few shots but not one on target and nothing for their keeper to have to save. Chopra was left isolated and therefore largely ineffective. JET was wide right and stayed there come what may - he is already having on the field spats with the likes of Edwards and Martin. Leadbitter is doing a Norris in my opinion - just counting the days.

The result today was not because we need a new CB or two (though yes, I know we do). The team hasn't gelled yet either but you would expect to have a bit of spirit in the team - that for me was lacking today. Confidence also seemed low. Enthusiasm limited. More than just players we are missing at the moment!!

An 18000 crowd on a lovely sunny day is worrying. Results and performances like this will not help boost those figures! Nothing special at all from the Town and a below average performance against a Hull team that must have thought that all its birthdays had come together.

It would have been 3 out of 3 if we had a team - unfortunately, some of your chaps got a bit carried away when you beat a team last week who's ability to play football has been going down the pan in recent seasons under Johnson and then Millen (yes, they got us to the NPC but didn't have a clue what to do when they got there).

We are going down this year if we don't change manager now and I'll tell you, you weren't much better than us last week (we just gave you 3 goals, not sour grapes, just a fact)...

On a positive note, your country cousins got a very well deserved point at Wigan yesterday and look set to be part of the Premiership furniture for many seasons to come.

    Hope your luck changes soon.

We played okay against Blackpool and we're unlucky to not get something out of that game, we were shocking against Macclesfield in the cup(hence the pessimism ahead of yesterdays game), but we're certainly not a **** team, we'll be up there come the end of the season.

The best bit about yesterday that it was only £20 per adult at the DW stadium.

    How cool was that ?:emoticon-0102-bigsm

What are ticket prices like at Portman Road and other Chump grounds like this season ?

£31, which is a bit steep, particularly when they won't let you have a beer at half time.

Most Championship games are still around £25.

You got a lucky draw because of an inept Referee (Attwell says it all) a nailed on pen that wasn't given and the luck of your woodwork being struck. You looked ****e and out of your depth compared against the perenial strugglers in that league. It looked like a relegation 6 pointer already!

I wouldnt take too much notice of the awful MOTD highlights JWM. They edited out Martinez's complimentary comments about Naaaridge and the events leading to our indirect free kick and other chances at goal. The match report on 693 20 minutes after the game stated that Naaaridge were the better side and deserved to win.

I dont expect you to believe me and I anticipate that you wouldnt want to enter into a reasoned and balanced debate about yesterday's game.

What happened in your game yesterday then ?

Was it the referee's fault ?
