I just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce a new (very simple to play) predictions game which has been adopted by Sheffield United. It enables fans to help raise funds for the Sheffield United Academy as well as a chance to win up to £5000.
The first game has already started with another beginning on the 15th of December. Itâs a £10 stake with £3 of the stake going to the Academy. As I say itâs simple to play:
Select a team to win at the weekend
Lose or draw and youâre out
Win and youâre through to the next round
Simple, but not simple enough for me. I made it to the third round of the first game, picking Leicester in the first round (they won 6 â nil), then Cheltenham town (they won 1 â nil). Then I had a late alcohol fueled night last Friday, overslept on the Saturday morning and failed to register a team before the 12pm deadline. Iâm out and I was going to pick United to win over Port Vale.
