Stand by for Darren Moore to join your ex manager thread phil. Finished 4 - 0. I can hear the wailing all the way from Posh land to Devon. The Owls fans forum should be interesting tonight.

Wow, what a beating. Not the first time you see third place go out because of a confidence drop.

Great comeback from Sunderland yesterday. 2 cracking goals. I met a lot of their fans at Wembley when they beat us. Great, passionate fans. Really hoping they win promotion. What an achievement that would be

Did anyone notice there were 2 ex Wycombe players on the pitch? Obviously Luke O9 but also, coming off the bench for Luton, was Fred whatsisname

Ex Wycombe Players are everywhere these days Ron. If Sunderland go up would Luke O9 be kept on.

Wasn’t he centre back yesterday, cracking player, would love him and Scowen together. (I think Sunderland actually had the opportunity to do that)

I don't think Sunderland rated Scowen; that's how we got him back. If I recall correctly, Scowen went to Barnsley from us then to Sunderland before returning

It just goes to show what you can do on a small budget when everybody pulls in the right direction, & from what I remember about Luton's ground it has to be one of the worst in at least the top three divisons

What's the odds Ron on Luton or Coventry having a worse record than Derby in the Premier League when if I remember correctly they got 11pts

Don't know about Coventry but Luton are a very physical side, relying on crosses and free kicks. They dis this to good effect against Sunderland who, without their 2 big defenders an tall striker (all out injured) could not cope with their physicality. They just didn't allow Sunderland to play football, as in the first leg. In the Premier I can't see this working. They might scrap out a few draws and the odd win but I can't see them staying up, if they get there
