But when you woke up this morning you realised you are not in themWell done again - you and the majority of your fans are great and deserve another pop at the Prem.
It is very rare to go twice to another club in a season and win a second time - I see us losing there and then they will put up a stonewall defence at our place - where we are not as strong. Hey ho - we had our chance but the gods were against us on the day. We can but hope. I will be doing a rain dance to improve our luck
The reason fans initially worry about the play-offs is because they think of it as having to win a whole mini-league against some of the best teams over the season.
Of course that is true, but in reality it will come down to winning the first ten minutes of your first tie and then the next and so on. If Watford are in a decent position after the first leg your focus won't be on promotion any more, it will be on the second leg.
Then if you do well enough to get past Leicester the confidence will be high again and the prospect of winning one game (even at Wembley) won't seem so daunting.
Im actually not gloating, I came over here saying how I wanted you to win the play-offs and whatnot so don't gimme that crap.
As for Brown, he puts in strong challenges, he's a bit slow though so tends to put in late challenges sometimes. He's not anywhere near as dirty as his reputation would have you believe and isn't a bad footballer for his age.
IF its a season long loan then they can play, if its a loan from January or February its likely to be a 3 month loan rather than season therefore 3 months from the date that the loan was agreed.
When you're blaming a 19 year old barely out of another team's academy for failing to get promoted you might want to have a look at yourselves.

I get that, just trying to point out that it's foolish to be throwing around accusations of dirty play when there were incidents balanced across both sides throughout the game (let's not forget we had our own player taken off with a head injury, hence the picture above).
And unfortunately I have revision to do and so can't enjoy the late spring/summer for another couple of weeks, by which time undoubtedly all semblance of nice weather will be gone.
And to reiterate what I said on the match thread, good luck in the play-offs.

You guys are really sensitive to accusations of dirty play aren't you? How badly injured was your player - did someone throw another player into him and break his nose?
In case you misunderstood the earlier conversation - the blame was not being put on Bonham for failing to get promotion. Ask yourself this - if during the warm up and then the first 25 minutes of a match you lost your first and second choice goalkeepers and so had to play a youngster who had never played first team football for us before in what was effectively a cup final - a match the kid had expected to watch from the stands so had no preparation for - would you expect him to do especially well? No - not his fault that he was thrown in the deep end and nobody is blaming him for the events that led to him being played - but read any newspaper today - probably even your own Leeds papers and you will read independently that he was at fault for both goals.
That is why we lost - sure the team COULD have done better in covering for him but it is no real surprise they did not.
We are over it - get back to your studies - and good luck in those whatever they are

It is a waste of time worrying about the result now...who is in the play offs you or Leeds?
Leeds will definitely be playing championship football next season...you have your destiny in your own hands and now you must grasp it then come back and chat to any Leeds fan who feels like coming here to say well done.

Thanks. Actually the weather's been brilliant! Only problem is that means town is crawling with tourists.
Constant media spin and stereotyping from opposition fans gets tiring after awhile, and he's concussed after an elbow to the face.

Those pictures appear to show that both players have lost the bottom half of both of their right arms - blimey I did not realise it was that bad a challenge! 
I'm glad you can look at it objectively after reviewing the incident.
As for his celebration after the goal (and I am asking everybody on here) wouldn't you celebrate like that if you were in his shoes? From his perspective he's getting booed for an innocent mistake that caused an unfortunate injury. It's only natural he wants to rub it in.
Michael Brown didn't do anything dirty all game. You're letting your "Michael Brown is a cheat" glasses get in the way of objectivity.
He was given a yellow for a clean tackle, he's had a load of abuse off you because he wasn't booked for watching your player fall over in the box, and he had the cheek to get taken out by Troy Deeney's flying lunge, getting him sent off. You couldn't make this stuff up...
Reality is Michael Brown was one of the cleanest players on the pitch on the day. I was very impressed by him as I usually agree that he fouls too often, given away a lot of key free kicks this season.

This only tells one story, that he elbowed Morison in the face. Regardless of intent contact like that is a red card offence.
Dirty Leeds Player. He's trying to bite his whole arm off. That's worse than Suarez
Nobody threw another player into him, they cut out the middle man and just elbowed him straight in the face. Morison has a concussion, so yes that's pretty serious. You keep conveniently overlooking that and wittering on about Bond's broken nose etc. Morison was spitting blood when he came off.
By the rule's definition, that elbow to the face could be quite easily seen as seriously foul play.

Not dirty at all. His arm was in that position because he was off balance after being pushed.

Poleon pushed the Watford defender into the goalkeeper in hope of making him spill the ball. It was a pre-meditated foul with disregard for the injury it was likely to cause.
I don't know if that's officially a sending off offence, but it probably should be because it's worse than a reflex foul or a split-second over-zealous action or reaction.
