Well he scored from the same ball through that some would judge he was initially offside from (though he was running back at that point). Whether there was a small touch as it came through is always extremely hard to tell with these things, if you determine goals on things you can't easily see it's going to cause problems. I can't help but feel the defenders could have done a better job anyway. The scorer for instance was far livelier in responding to the situation, as initially he was really out of the play and not running onto the ball at all.
Wednesday's end? It is their ground. Are you trying to say the only reason it's coming across better than the KC cauldron is the position of the mics?
It should be, but often isn't. How can the lino make an objective judgement call by seeing both attacker & "attacking" goalie when he (the linesman) 's mid-way in the attacking half, the keeper's hoofing the ball from well inside his own penalty area. The distance between the two participants is too far to see together by the linesman at the same instant. Even the TV cameraman couldn't see them both in the same shot. He was definitely offside at the point the goalie cleared the ball, based on the two independent camera shots I saw in the replay's. I can't see how it was anything other than a "subjective" call by the lino after the co-incident events. Forestieri was not exactly obstructing/distracting the Brighton goalie or Brighton defenders when he was running back to the halfway line, was he ?
